This is a hoot!

From the moment this tour starts, until the last bite at the last pizzeria, Scott's Pizza Walking Tour is non-stop fun. The pizza is amazing, but the sheer volume of cool information (from historical to loony) about pizza is terrific! Delivered with infectious enthusiasm, deep research, and a maniacal love of all things PIZZA, our guide made sure we were all involved, had a great time, and learned lots. Oh, and ate enough pizza to last a week! Best tour ever!

We planned a last minute (about two week's lead time) to NYC. I wanted to show my son something other than the typical tourist stops in an interesting and fun way.... and we got to do it via a yellow school bus while eating our fave food! PIZZA! My son's a well-traveled kiddo, but typcially falls asleep on any type of tour. NOT on the Pizza Bus! A soundtrack of cool music, surrounded by cool people (it seemed like many were locals... NY/NJ, with a couple of tourists like us!) made the bus-ride really fun. And Scott! He's a funny guy who found the perfect ratio of talking to music-playing while on the bus. Scott clearly loves pizza, knows all about, and is respected by the owners/servers at the establishments we visited. I learned so much about pizza and my son had a blast! Next time we're in NYC, we're bringing Dad on the Pizza Bus!

Who would think there's so much to a really good pizza! Scott you opened my eyes! I'm a very big skeptic when we started off. And as the tour came to the end I was transformed into a believer, that a small disk with cheese and sauce on it can bring people from all over the world together for 4 1/2 hours and have a really goood time. The tour was fantastic, your knowledge and humor was the mozzarella on the pizza. I will do this tour again with visting family and friends.

Scott's Pizza Tours deserves every accolade it has (and will) receive. Scott's passion for pizza, entertaining manner, and incredibly in-depth knowledge ("from tip to lip")make the tour great fun. I will never eat pizza the same way again! The bus was fun, but my group can't wait for warmer weather so we can try one of the walking tours, as well. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting NYC or anyone living there who thinks they know pizza...!

Not much to add to what others have already said. Took the tour on new year's eve- no better way to end 2009! Going to the pizza places we visited alone would've been a good time, having Scott as a tour guide about basket weaving alone would've been a good time, but the combination of pizza AND Scott equaled a GREAT TIME!! Even with freezing temps and some snow flurries on our visit the weather elements did not take away from our pizza walk tour. As an added bonus, Scott even gave me pizza recommendations for where I live in Austin, TX- to say he knows his sheeyot is definitely an understatement! Do yourself a favor and book this tour with Scott! It'll be a guaranteed highlight of your visit to New York city!

Scott's Pizza Tour is some of the best 3 hours you can spend in NY. Scott is knowledgeable, funny and the Pizza is the best. I don't think I will ever be able to eat Pizza hut or Domino's again. I highly recommend this tour...even on a snowy day the pizza kept us warm.

Scott's Pizza Tour is so much fun! The guy knows everything there is to know about pizza- literally everything. I expected just to be shown a few pizzerias, eat some pizza, and get a little history, but Scott infuses so much energy into the tour, you get so much more!

We were in New York City for a holiday during the week between Christmas and New Year's and, while it is certainly a beautiful time of year to be in the city, it was incredibly crowded everywhere we went! We soon found out that indoor activities (like museums and attractions - even stores and many restaurants) involved lineups outside in the cold ... not a great option anytime, but certainly not with two kids (aged 12 and 8). I'm soooooo glad that I had booked Scott's Pizza Tour ahead of time. It was the highlight of our trip! Scott is the complete enthusiast about pizza; we learned more about pizza in those 3 hours than I had thought possible. It was the perfect family outing - a walking tour and lunch (3 slices of pizza from 3 different restaurants) all rolled into one. I have come back to Toronto telling everyone I know that if they are going to New York, and especially if they are a family with kids, to book a spot on Scott's Pizza Tour. Next time, we'll plan to be there on a weekend, so we can go on the bus tour to the boroughs! We had a fabulous time and would recommend this tour in a heartbeat.

After reading ALL the positive reviews of Scott's Pizza Tour, we decided to go for it and glad we did. It did not disappoint. It was great to see NY and it's great pizza through Scott's eyes. He is very enthusiastic about his pizza! He was a great tour guide and just plain fun to hang out with for three hours. Would recommend this for anyone.....we had a blast!

Scott is absolutely fantastic. Truly knowledgable about pizza, ovens, and New York in general. Ate lots of different pizza styles and went all over NY- Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Harlem. Our family had a great time, definitely a highlight of our vacation! Thanks Scott!
