Scott's Pizza Tours

I enjoyed it....however, I feel that the first stop for pizza should be sooner than it was. Everyone was extremely hungry and walking for almost an hour and a half. before the first slice. I think the walk could be shortened to 2 hours or even better....add another pizza stop. Scott was very extemely informative and fun.

I loved this tour. Scott is PASSIONATE about pizza - his enthusiasm is infectious. I learned a lot about Pizza and the areas we toured. Great eating - great time. I would highly recommend this to everyone!

Highly recommended. Scott's enthusiasm is contagious! And by the end of the walking tour, I was just as crazy for pizza! His extensive research in all aspects of pizza-making and eating is amazing! I will now follow his "Pizza Patrol" column for the Star Ledger(NJ) with interest . Just wish he'd start a blog. Next I plan to go on his longer pizza bus tour! .

Scott was fantastic! I learned more about the history of little Italy and pizza than I even thought existed. He is extremely energetic and we had a wonderful time. I have already recommended to people.

I took many tours during my trip of the States and while this was not my favourite it is a good tour. Four pizza stops, (2 stops has great pizza, the other two were good but not amazing) Scott provides a good background on the history of pizza in general and in the USA. Tour would definitely have been better if it was a smaller group.

Scott makes the whole tour - he is enthusiatic, funny and involves everyone! He is amazing when it comes to all he knows about pizza. It was different than most tours and we got to see different New York areas. Great time had by all in our group! We all said that we would do it again!

This tour EXCEEDED our expectations! I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to see NYC from a different point of view and anyone who would like to learn some unique history. Scott KNOWS his pizza. He is a pizza fanatic who has taken something he loves and created a fun and tasty format that allows him to share his love with others. This isn't just about eating pizza. Scott can tell you about the pizza parlors, the ovens, how they came to be, why they came to be. He can talk about Italy and their pizza, their approved pizzas, the approved ingredients.... You want to know something about pizza? Just ask Scott! The bus ride is fun (he has a great pizza song!), he is knowledgeable and entertaining, and the 4 pizzas we tried were 4 examples that not all pizzas are created equal. This is a must do for all ages. Be ready to laugh, learn, and of course EAT!

I will recommend this to EVERY visitor, local, friend, colleague and family member I have. Scott is incredibly knowledgeable and humorous, he keeps the tour consistently fun and interesting. I wish there were more tours like this!

Scott was amazing. You kind of laugh when a question is asked and he gets so energized to answer. I couldn't expected more. I don't know how he makes it fun to talk about New York's water sources, but he does. I'll just have to wait until the "Scott's Pizza Journal" is available on Amazon. Anything good in California???

Scott was great tour leader. He was very knowledgable about New York Pizza and it's history. The best part is you get to sample as well.

You can't really explain it. You have to be there. You can learn so much from the guide and it's really interesting. If you love pizza, you have to go in this tour. Period. Enjoy!

Scot is an absolute legend, has a huge amount of entusiasm and even if you are not as crazy about pizza as he is youll come out of the tour like him! Was surprised at how interesting (and tasty) this tour would be, highly reccomended!
