IN 4 HOURS YOU, A NOVICE, CAN MASTER PIZZA MAKING

This class was a birthday present to my daughter, 30. Her husband said he could eat pizza every day and her kids, 5 & 8, could too. She didn't want to go alone so I went too. What fun! I thought I could never make the dough, leaving all such activities to my bread machine. But, master chef Mark easily and gently showed us we could. And baked it in a home oven too! I couldn't believe how easy it was. While we were waiting for our dough to rise, Mark made us several pizzas, passing around the finished product. He divulged all his "secrets" and showed us how easy it was to make the sauce. When it was our turn to pat out the dough, he and his partner, Jenny, walked around helping seal the soon-to-be-crust you just put a hole in or suggesting delicious additions. They also used wonderful ingredients, no need to send to Italy for "00" flour or mozzarella. Two assistants helped prepare toppings and tastes, as needed. We made four pizzas each and boxes were supplied as well. Time flew. We walked out into the night amazed we had spent an extra hour, had amassed instant friends, and learned to make a New York staple.

As advertised, designed for home cooks to make great pizza. Having tried at home a few times, this workshop helped fill in the blanks, particularly about the dough for the crust. Mark and his team are generous with their knowledge and have designed a fun and informative program. Plus, you get to taste a large assortment of pizzas as created by yourself and classmates.

You "gotta" experience this for yourself!

We received gift certificate for making pizza at Pizza A Casa and it was one of our best gifts we've ever received. The entire experience was fabulous from the minute we entered the building. We learned how to make pizza from start to finish - including making our own dough, in a friendly and informative atmosphere. Our workshop not only included hands-on, but so many delicious samples of the kinds of pizzas we could make at home that we couldn't eat for the rest of the day. Every attendee made enough dough for 4 pizzas - roughly 8-10". You had the option to cook them all at the workshop, but we chose to cook one pizza each and take home 3 dough "balls" for future use. We made our first pizza at home the next day - yum!

I received this class as a gift and had a great time. It was so easy to learn how to make great pizza, I wish I had taken it years ago. The ingredients were all available at my local grocery and I have made several pizzas at home myself since taking the class. Everyone in the class asked so many questions which were all answered so completely I felt very knowledgeable when I left. I would recommend this class to anyone who loves pizza and cooking. Bonus is you get to eat and drink wine while you learn!

A Must for all Pizza Lovers & Foodies!

My wife got this pizza making lesson for me as a Christmas gift and I loved it! Mark and Jenny are very organized and before you know it you'll be making pizzas like a pro. Mark is very personable and knows his business. He takes you step by step through the entire pizza making process and explains exactly why and how the do each step to make the perfect pizza in your own home. Mark knows his ingredients, sauces, olive oils and toppings. For anyone who is a "foodie" or a pizza lover this class is a must. You'll have a chance to make up to four 12" pizzas and experiment with lots of different toppings from fresh mozzarella to sun dried tomatoes and more. Even for the standard cheese and pepperoni pizza eater you'll find yourself trying different pizzas you never thought existed. And at the end of the day you walk out with an ingredient list, recipes and the confidence to make pizza a casa (pizza at home).
