I recently took this lesson with my boyfriend on a weekend getaway we had to NY. He was skeptic but he greatly enjoyed the class and thanked me afterwards for taking him. It not only is a hands on fun activity but also teaches great tricks to make the best pizza youll ever have.

This place is a great way to inspire an addiction to pizza making especially if you live around the corner. Much better to drop in while being a tourist from far far away to avoid the desperate need to return the next day and buy all the kit necessary to make pizza at home. This place is great. Go there and you will have fun while enjoying the best pizza you'll ever make.

this was not the first time i've done a cooking class, though it is the first time i've done one with seven coworkers... and it was a great success. (note: i did this exact class once before with a friend, and loved it just as much then!) mark and jenny are professional but casual, informative but interesting, creative but not crazy. i havent yet purchased my very own pizza stone or paddle with which to sling homemade pies around my apartment, but the fact that they made making dough from scratch un-scary is awesome! and i sort of want a pizza stone now! i brought my extra pizzas home with me -- no WAY could i eat them all that night, though i tried... -- and even after sharing some with the bartender who served my self-congratulatory you-just-made-PIZZA beers, i had plenty left over -- and my friends who benefited from my abundance of pizza agreed: this pizza was great! awesome class, excellent instructors... thank you thank you!

Best pizza we had in NY!

We went to a lot of famous pizza places in NY during our week there, but the ones Mark made for us in the beginning of his class was without a doubt the best ever. And then to learn how to make them at home was too good to be true. We all (12 students) made 3-4 pizzas each during the class! Highly recommended if you like pizza! And who doesn't?

We had a great time, if you have a choice between this or a show, do this! My husband and I are self proclaimed foodies who travel a lot and have found in the last couple years that we love NYC style pizza. We live in Florida and try as I might I've never managed to get very close repeating the crust until now. I read about the class and immediately wanted to sign up but I'm the cook in the family and my husband while he loves to eat and help with dishes and grilling doesn't do much else in the kitchen. We only had 1 day in the city and its most time he would have spend in NY, so I asked him if he would consider going to this instead of a Broadway show. He said whatever I wanted to do would be fine, I think at first he just wanted to let me choose, but in the end he really enjoyed it and can now make pizza that turns out great and I think likes that he made it himself. So, husbands go with your wives you'll have fun and wives don't be afraid to ask him to go because you'll have fun together. We got into the city early and took in a few sights before and after class. Sightseeing was cool but we both agree that learning to make pizza and eating Mark and Jenny's creations were the highlight. (FYI, went to WTC, but you need advance tix to see the memorial) The class was fun and informative, a great pace and time went by very quickly. At no point did I wish things would move faster or that anything was different. By the end of the class we each made two pizzas both amazing and my husband's (who challenged me that he could do better before we started) was almost as good as mine (he'd say it was better because he loves the toppings he added). We could have made more but since we wanted to see some more sights we stopped and gave the remainder of our dough to some locals in the class. We left with a box of piping hot pies and carried them with us on the subway to enjoy in the park. There were more than a few passer-bys that looked our way and we even chatted with a few tourists about the class in an elevator to the Top of the Rock. We are back in Florida a week later and on our way from the airport stopped by the store to get the 3 things we didn't already have in order to try our new pizza recipe. It turned out perfect, just like in class. My husband ate his entire pizza and two pieces of mine. We had to make another one later for our son-in-law who was visiting and lives up in the NYC area, he must have approved because he ate his entire pizza too. We are very happy, not only with the class and level of instruction but our proven results at home. I must also say that the pies we made were spectacular and my husband's may have even been a little better this time around, he's getting better at making them round and I was in such a hurry to get it in and out of the oven cuz I couldn't wait. Many more pizza challenges to follow. Don't hesitate, sign up for the class and you too will be making awesome pizzas at home.

The Pizza class was definitely a highlight of my trip. Very different to the regular tourist attractions New York has to offer, taught me a lot about pizza making, and you get to keep their pizza making guide, and menu to recreate at home! Fantastic!
