I took my boyfriend here for his birthday because he LOVES pizza . The class was fun and informative. The instructor's personality and teaching style reminded me of the host from Food Network's show "Good Eats". He was excited about pizza and informative. The teaching assistants were very helpful and friendly. We were given a list of possible pizzas we could make in class, but were also encouraged to be inventive with the ingredients in the kitchen. The decor of the class was funky and stylish. Overall, this class was money well spent...and i def won bonus points with the boyfriend. |

My husband and I love to cook but we are not chefs. Mark made it really easy and showed us how to make very delicious pizza from ingredients you can find at your local grocery store and cook right in your own oven at home. We felt comfortable right from the moment we got there and had lots of fun learning, cooking, and tasting. My favorite was the bananas and nutella! |

Just like a class in Italy, but in English! Lots of hands on learning, small class size, and great anecdotal stories. Mark should have his own pizza tv show - he is pizza passionate! My only regret is no red wine while cooking.... |

Mark is a great teacher and pizza artist extraordinaire! After the class I feel like I have been making
pizza from scratch..and I mean scratch for years! If you want to learn how to make the best pizzas in
a fun atmosphere...this is the place!!! The only downside is that the even though the class lasts 4 hours
NO ONE wanted to leave! We just wanted to keep making and tasting each others creations! Just
do it and don't think about it twice is my advise to anyone even thinking about it..YOU WILL be GLAD
YOU DID!! |

Great, great, great class. Easy for everyone to understand and lots of attention is paid to each individual. Going to recommend to all of my friends that live in the area and visit from out of town. |

This class is 100% worth the time, money, and effort. Mark is so knowledgeable, funny, and engaging, that he really captivated us all afternoon. In addition, we increased our knowledge of the right ingredients, correct cooking techniques, and different combinations of the two that it was well worth it. This was the best cooking class we have taken thus far! |

If you're on the fence about whether or not to spend the money on this course, take my advice and sign up. It was the highlight of my latest trip to NYC, and that's saying a lot. Mark & crew were fantastic - so enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. And the best part is that I can now make a NY-style pizza that is a thousand times better than anything I can buy here at home. If budget is an issue, skip the Broadway show, skip the Empire State Building observation deck, skip the overpriced food in Times Square. Spend the money you've saved to take this course. You won't regret it.
Thanks for the awesome time Mark & Jenny. - Doug |

I loved every minute of this class. Mark is incredibly knowledgeable. He has tested, and tasted, every pizza component from dough, sauce, and toppings to equipment and technique. I think he knows every pizza place in the tri-state area. The class was fun and entertaining, social and yet packed every moment with information. I left with confidence that I could make great pizza at home. |

Can't say enough about what a great time this was. If you love eating pizza (and who doesn't?) and especially if you like to experiment with making your own, this workshop should not be missed. Tons of fun, informative and well organized. Like some others, I wondered how I would stay interested for 4 hours on the topic of pizza. In fact, the time flew by. I took the class 2 weeks ago and have blown my friends and kids away by the pizza I am churning out of my home oven.
Thank you! |
