Best cooking class I've ever taken, very hands on!

This was such a fun class! 100% hands on and engaging. Mark Bello is extremely entertaining and charismatic. He's also very knowledgeable when it comes to sourcing of high quality ingredients. He stocks his pantry with all kinds of different ingredients and sauces so you can make your pizza your own. Will definitely go back for other classes!

I had fun and learned a lot about how I can make real pizza in my own oven. Mark is a great host and very knowledgable about pizza. I recommend it.

Most enjoyable class. Very well organized. Informative, ideal for novices and professional chefs, everyone is catered for. Opportunity to ask questions, help at hand if needed. Delicious pizza to eat too! Fun way to spend afternoon or evening, Mark and Jenny are doing an excellent job. A memorable experience and a new skill learned too. Try it, you won't regret it.

Had so much fun! Mark and Jenny are so nice and patient. They have the class agenda planned out perfectly, down to the instruction guide and pizza menu. We were nervous about being there for 4 hours but we were having so much fun making our pizza creations I think we ended up staying even longer. We bought most of the "tools" we used in class. I use them all the time and actually enjoy the process of making pizza now. Highly recommended!

Fun Activity for the Family

To help celebrate mine and my husband's 20th anniversary, we took our two teenagers to the Pizza Making Workshop. It was a wonderful and informative activity to do with the family. Not only did we spend quality time together, but we learned a skill that we will be using for years to come! The only feedback that I would offer is this: being that there are about 11-12 people there, from all over the world, perhaps ( in our case, one family from California, one couple from England, one couple from Norway, I think, and us--from North Carolina), I would suggest that Mark start off by having each couple/family introduce themselves and tell a little bit about ourselves. Being that we all spent at least 4 hours together, it would have been nice to get to know one another a little better. As for Mark and his assistant: they were great! Very nice, and knowledgeable! We really enjoyed ourselves and our teenage daughters liked it a lot too!!!

One of the best things we did in NYC
Wed, Nov 23, 11   6:30 PM rclark1955 Female 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
Our family of 4 pizza lovers from California (2 adults, a 16-year-old son and 20-year-old daughter) had a lot of fun and easily mastered the clear and helpful lessons in pizza-making. We went on with new confidence to experiment with flavor combinations that we would never have thought of on our own. It was very creative experience and fun to do as a family. The hours flew by! In all we made 16 delicious pizzas that night and finally left content and full at about 11 pm. We enjoyed the experience so much that we are using a photo of all of us with our pizzas for this year's Christmas card.
