Hands-On Pizza Workshop

We came here last week, and not only did we have a great time we also learned everything there is to know about Pizza. You leave the class with a real concept of how to make incredible pie's at home. Can't wait to come back for the pasta class!

Pizza a Casa is the best thing to happen to pizza since sliced sopressata! Mark and Jenny are the greatest teachers. I have always had a hard time with making a thin crust and then finishing a really good pizza in my home oven. I've tried different cookbooks, different recipes and even videos, but dough making is very precise and very tactile. I was about ready to give up when I decided to google "Pizza Classes"for some tutoring, and I discovered Pizza a Casa. Only hands on experience under the tutelage of master pizzaioli could solve my problem and Pizza a Casa did just that. I was amazed that within two hours I had actually made a pizza from scratch. And it was actually good. Better than most corner pizzerias. And I had a ball. On top of being knowledgeable and good teachers, Mark and Jenny are very entertaining. The four hours flew by. I went to the pizza making class with a friend of mine. My friend has some cooking experience and I have very little. We both had a great time! The instruction was interesting and helpful and by the end of the class even I was making my own pizza! It was delicious and between the instruction received and the handout, I feel like I could definitely make pizza at home now!

If you want to learn to make great pizza from the making of the crust to toppings this is the class for you. The class is small, 12 students, with everyone having a work station. Mark the teacher is enthusiastic and a great pizza maker. He taught us how to make the dough from scratch, work it into a round and be creative with toppings. And then there was all that pizza to eat. You won't go away hungry.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked the class.. My girlfriend and I have always made our own pizza (using pre-made pizza dough) and had fun doing it, so I though this would be a fun birthday gift for her.. We had a great time! Mark was awesome; we learned how to make probably the best home made pizza possible. We made our own dough and created our own master pieces! I initially thought that 4 hours was a long time, but it totally wasn't, time flies when you're having fun! I highly recommend this class to anyone.... Thanks again Mark!!

The learn to make pizza at home class is excellent. Mark (the teacher) is a great guy and really makes it fun. You really do learn to make outstanding pizzas at home. Way better than you can buy and way more fun. Highly recommended for anyone who loves pizza.

I have been a pizza fanatic for years. I had an opportunity to live in NY for a couple of years ago a long time ago and fell in love with New York style pizza. Now living in CA, I haven't found anything that compares. I brought my husband to NYC with me on a work trip recently and I had found this pizza making class online and we decided to try it out. We loved it! Mark made the class fun and entertaining. We got to munch on pizza through out the night. It was a great class! We have made the pizza twice since coming home and it turned out just as great as the ones we made in class. This is definitely a fun time if you're looking for something different to do!

This was the BEST pizza workshop I've done! I was able to actually take the things I learned and use it as soon as I got home to make amazing pizzas. The packet of information they send you home with is so useful too! It was so much fun and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to make amazing pizza at home!
