Hands-On Pizza Workshop

If you are looking for fun, good food and to learn from professionals, this is the workshop for you. The teachers (Marco, Jenny and Mike) are very organized, patient, funny and clearly very experienced in the arts of pizza making and teaching. A lot of care is put into the details, everythig is neat, well presented and of good quality. Mark teaches you about the ingredients, the techniques and the different pizzas you can make. All documented in notes that are handed out. Whilst you wait for your dough to raise, you taste the pizzas that Mark makes for you. You can buy beer and wine and there is a good selection of items that you can buy to continue to make pizzas at home. The school is located in Chinatown and easy to reach by public transport and by foot. Passion and professionality meet Italian pizza. What more can you ask for?

Great fun and amazing pizza'! Learning by doing was a fabulous experience for the four of us. The lesson was so well presented and every detail was worked out to perfection. We learned so much and made delicious pizza. Mark is a master chef whom has thought out every detail of the process.

I'm slightly biased, as Mark is a friend of a friend, but this class is fantastic. It turns out that my wife and I were making every possible mistake when it came to pizza dough. The class is well-organized, well-run, very tasty, super professional and well worth the money.

This was a stellar experience. The team at Pizza a Cassa is extremely engaging and knowledgeable. They are enviously passionate about what they do. The pizza was amazing.

We visit NYC yearly at Christmas time and were looking for a "change of pace" from the usual tourist sites. We found Pizza a Casa on Trip Advisor. After reading all the great reviews, I signed my husband and I up for a Saturday afternoon class. It was so much fun! Mark and Jenny really know their pizza. Mark shared his knowledge/secrets of pizza crusts, cheeses, herbs, spices.....everything. I have NEVER made a homemade pizza ever. Mark reassured the class of 12 that by the end of the day we would be making great pizza, and he was right. Mark and Jenny made the whole experience a lively, fun activity. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
