The host is a great speaker who teaches well. You learn by example and then by making your own pizzas with a great variety of toppings and ingredients. The class is entirely worth the money and the time.

I really enjoyed this class. Mark is a true professional - knowledgeable, humorous and helpful. I would recommend this course to anyone who enjoys good pizza, and a good time!

Pizza a Casa is the best thing to happen to pizza since sliced sopressata! Mark and Jenny are the greatest teachers. I have always had a hard time with making a thin crust and then finishing a really good pizza in my home oven. I've tried different cookbooks, different recipes and even videos, but dough making is very precise and very tactile. I was about ready to give up when I decided to google "Pizza Classes"for some tutoring, and I discovered Pizza a Casa. Only hands on experience under the tutelage of master pizzaioli could solve my problem and Pizza a Casa did just that. I was amazed that within two hours I had actually made a pizza from scratch. And it was actually good. Better than most corner pizzerias. And I had a ball. On top of being knowledgeable and good teachers, Mark and Jenny are very entertaining. The four hours flew by. I thought I knew a good bit about cooking pizza but Mark opened my eyes to new techniques and reminded me of others that I had begun to ignore. A number of people, both in NYC and elsewhere, knew that I would attend the Pizza Class. I gave a very strong recommendation for Pizza A Casa to each one and said that I thought the ticket price provided more fun and learning than a Broadway Show and that it was a far better investment. The Pizza Cooking Class is a fantastic buy for locals as well as visitors.

Really fun and interesting way to spend an afternoon in NY. A great facility and a passionate owner and team. Highly recommended!

Took my father for his 70th birthday and we had a blast and can now make super tasty pizza!

We am always looking for a new, fun food adventure. When we enrolled for this four hour class we thought "hmmm" ...four hours ( too long??) and a bit pricey. ....Sure hope it is worth it. Well, let us tell you...we had a total blast and it was worth every dollar. This is a unique and invigorating experience - great music and there is more than enough pizza ( made with high quality ingredients) to eat during class than you'd ever want to consume in one sitting. Mark is engaging and very accomodating. We can't wait to use our newly found "expert pizza skills" and amaze everyone this football season with fresh, gourment pizzas.

I had a wonderful time and I learned a lot. Mark was a very enthuiastic teacher! I have already told some local friends about his class.

Learning to make pizza was so much fun. When you leave you are really prepared to make great pizza. Very entertaining and informative. Great activity for any age and gender.

This was a great class and a really fun evening. Everything's covered, from where to buy ingredients, to how to make the dough and sauce from scratch, to how to get the best results from a home oven. Between the 8 students and the instructor, we made and tasted 21 pizzas throughout the evening. I'm also happy to report that I've successfully used the techniques learned in class to create pizza masterpieces at home after the class! Can't recommend this one highly enough.

My son and I took the class and had a blast! We learned how to make pizza crust and also different combinations to add to our customized pizzas. We tasted so many different pizzas as well. Mark is very personable and enjoys what he does. You will have a great time!

Mark Bello's passion for pizza comes through loud and clear, and it's difficult not to latch on to his enthusiasm. The class was informative, fun and delicious! Beginners need not worry -- our class was mostly beginners and by the end of the 4 hours everyone was able to create their own pizza masterpieces.

This was the highlight of our trip! Mark and his team did an amazing job!
