WOW, Just WOW

I have been making pizzas at home for a couple of years and some were ok, some were good and a few were real good. The problem was always consistency with the crust. Mark does an unbelievable job of walking you through all the steps of the crust, with just enough "scientific" stuff so that you will understand the concept. I made three pizzas and they were all great. Went home the next day and made my wife a Margherita pizza and she took one bite and so "oh my goodness, this is wonderful". Two thumbs up to Mark and Jenny.

My wife and I both make pizza so we wanted to compare our process to the Pizza a Casa method. We were blown away with the quality of the pizza and the quality of the instructor. We came home and made pizzas using the class process and they turned out terrific. We have thrown the old process out! Thank for making part of our stay in NYC so enjoyable, entertaining and educational!

I thought I knew a good bit about cooking pizza but Mark opened my eyes to new techniques and reminded me of others that I had begun to ignore. A number of people, both in NYC and elsewhere, knew that I would attend the Pizza Class. I gave a very strong recommendation for Pizza A Casa to each one and said that I thought the ticket price provided more fun and learning than a Broadway Show and that it was a far better investment. The Pizza Cooking Class is a fantastic buy for locals as well as visitors.

I took this class because I got a pizza stone for a gift and thought - learn to make pizza - and now I do! The class is very well organized, relaxed and yummy! The staff (Mark/Mike/Jenny) are so incrediblely engaging and helpful and make their own sausage that is delicious! My friends and family were amazed with how delicious my pizza was (yes, i took some home to share). I would strongly suggest this class to anyone who wants to learn how to make pizza (or just have a great afternoon) - fantastico! Ciao . . .

This class gave us many great suggestions. Mark has so much information about pizza making in his head, that he was able to give us individualized answers and tips about the problems each of us had at home in making pizza. The entire experience was excellentt abd we look forward to signing up for their pasta making class in the near future.

Mark clearly loves what he does and it shows. He is very knowledgeable and able to communicate in a simple, concise manner. His approach has been thoughtfully developed for the amateur home pizza maker and it works.

I am an experienced home pizza maker but my girl friend was not. We both got a lot from the class and enjoyed it very much. Mark Bello and staff were very informative and helpful through out and the pizzas were delicious. As an added bonus Kosars Bialys is next door.

WE had fuzzy expectations....but very quickly they were clarified, elevated, and surpassed. As a serious tomato gardener, I appreciate both the learned process of pizza education and the joyful atmosphere of the class. We have already sung your praises to friends and family and look forward to seeing you again.

Great Fun - Great NYC Memories - Great Pizza
Sun, Jul 1, 12   12:00 PM LarryPall Male 60-69 Domestic Tourist(s) Family Without Children
My wife and I just spent 11 days in NYC and this was one of the best memories of the trip. We love pizza but have been unsuccessful at making the dough at home. It is usually dense and elastic and not the pizza experience we want. After taking this class, we have been sucessful every time at making pizza that is company worthy and have enjoyed making great pizza with our friends. How awsome it is to bring wonderful NYC thin crust pizza back home to California with us. Mark and Jenny run a clean, fun class with great music and a wonderful vibe. They are perfect hosts that really enjoy what they are doing. This class is highly recommended by us.

My son and I attended a Saturday afternoon class and the 4 hours went by so fast. The instructors were very attentive and patient. There were 5 students and we had an eye opening experience. I have already recommended this class to several friends if they ever make it to NYC, one is a professional cook. Thank you Mark and Jenny and Mike for a great afternoon. And yes Mark you can use my "quote".

Very engaging and entertaining time and was sad to see it come to an end. We took away a lot of information and experience that we will be using for now on. Really can't say enough good things about Mark, Jenny, and Mike and the skillful presentation. It was definitely the highlight of our trip to NYC. Who'd a thunk it?

I wanted to take my Pizza enjoyment to the next level. I enjoy Pizza but I wanted to learn to make my own. I wanted to learn basics so I could make my own crust and sauce. I learned that and also found out how to think about toppings especially the differnt cheeses that can be used. I can't wait to get home and try out some of what I learned. I would highly recommend this activity to any one that likes Pizza.
