Pizza a Casa Pizza School

Even though this class is expensive, it was well worth it! Chef Mark was so unassuming and easy going that he put any worries aside I had of being able to make my own pizza. He went through every step from creating the dough, rolling it out, adding toppings, baking it and eating it! It's wonderful to learn that I don't need any fancy tools or ingredients to make a delicious pizza. We had a lot of fun and laughs and now I can make my own pizza!

I am an experienced home pizza maker but my girl friend was not. We both got a lot from the class and enjoyed it very much. Mark Bello and staff were very informative and helpful through out and the pizzas were delicious. As an added bonus Kosars Bialys is next door.

We had such a fantastic time at the workshop despite my boyfriend initially having reservations. He was particularly impressed by the laid back and fun nature of the workshop, as well as the one on one help offered by Mark, Jenny and Mike! All in all they were very good hosts, particularly Mark whose passion for pizza and local produce really shone through and inspired a similar enthusiasm in his students!

Had a great time! I make my own pizza at home and had learned a few new pointers and new ideas to add to my repertoire! Love the decor!

Mark, Jenny, & Co., do a wonderful job kneading out all your pizza making phobias (get it ... dough? ... kneading? ... wacka-wacka!!), and provide really everything you have to know to make delicious pizza at home. I'm completely jazzed about the class, and I can't wait to put my new found knowledge to practical use! Ciao!

WE had fuzzy expectations....but very quickly they were clarified, elevated, and surpassed. As a serious tomato gardener, I appreciate both the learned process of pizza education and the joyful atmosphere of the class. We have already sung your praises to friends and family and look forward to seeing you again.

Mark really knows his stuff and is an amazing presenter. After following his instructions I found it really easy to make a great tasting pizza. He also makes a few himself and they are really incredible. I am not much of a cook but just had a wonderful time trying it out and interacting with the people.

Very informative & entertaining. Enjoyed being able to relax & have a beer while learning how to make delicious pizzas. Staff was very helpful & patient with this rookie pizza-maker.

MARK BELLO and his staff were amazing. They made the class fun and educational. The class and the experience was worth every penny!!!!

it has been a great experience for all of us.. Mark /Jenny/Mike are great.. class is very relexing & enjoyable..they are making this class for everyone so we can try this at home .. the class size is small enough for them to pay personal attentions to everyone.. Just bring a few friends to create your own group, play with differnt flavors, knick back and enjoy!!! p.s. --there is one more tiny detail maybe they can improve - the big TV screen is a great idea but the glares from the lights nearby is making it impossible to see the TV on certain area.

My wife and I just spent 11 days in NYC and this was one of the best memories of the trip. We love pizza but have been unsuccessful at making the dough at home. It is usually dense and elastic and not the pizza experience we want. After taking this class, we have been sucessful every time at making pizza that is company worthy and have enjoyed making great pizza with our friends. How awsome it is to bring wonderful NYC thin crust pizza back home to California with us. Mark and Jenny run a clean, fun class with great music and a wonderful vibe. They are perfect hosts that really enjoy what they are doing. This class is highly recommended by us.

We really enjoyed the hands on experience of seeing how precisely pizzas can be made! Every detail was covered in trying to create the perfect pizza, all this was possible only through Mark's personal passion and knowledge for everything 'Pizza'. We loved the pizzeria shop, which felt very authentic and were made to feel at home due to the relaxed style lesson in which we were taught. It was great that the class size was small and intimate. We can't wait to put everything we learnt during the lesson, in to practice. I really believed we tasted some of the best pizza of our life during the lesson!
