Half Day Fishing in Clearwater Florida

This is the second time that we have gone fishing with Queen Fleet and plan to go again. The fishing is great and we always take them to the restaurant next door and for less than $10.00 they fry your fish, serve them a basket of french fries, cole slaw, and a basket of bread. I don't really like fish for a meal but when they are this fresh they are great. I recommend this activity and rate it as a 10.

The crew was friendly and helpful. Fish were cooporative and plentiful. We enjoyed it thoroughly. Would recommend it to anybody who likes to fish.

The boat was far too crowded to enjoy any fishing. You basically have 20 hooks in a space of 10 feet all around the boat. No casting is possible in such cramped conditions, just drop your line straight down and hope a fish takes your bait over the other dozens of hooks. The boat ride out was the best part, might as well have just rented a boat. If you really want some decent fishing charter your own boat or ask about the capacity before hand. I would not reccomend this to anyone to wants to do any serious fishing.

Made our trip very easy to enjoy / purchase tickets and was provided with all information needed to have a hassle free trip. The captain and crew were very knowledgeable and pleasant. my 4 and 8 year old boys had a blast and again the staff very helpful with everything

Took an 11 year old on his first deep sea trip and he loved it. The boat was clean and in good repair the staff was helpfull and couteous, we caught fish and the weather was fantastic. Great Trip Mike Patrick

We had a good time. The price was ok. I remember when it was about $35 per person. Now it is about $50 plus $5 for your pole rental! We did stay at the same spot for a while even though fish seemed to have left there! It would have been nice to move to another spot once the fish slowed down. Wish we would have caught more. We caught 5 Grunts(Snapper) and 1 Sea Bass (which was a nice surprise!) I did this trip around 10 years ago and caught 2 or 3 times the fish. The cook made some great breakfast sandwiches! I would have been interested in seeing the cook wear gloves since he also doubled as cashier and was handling the caught fish. Pete the deckhand was helpful at taking the fish off the hook (Seems it would be better if they used pliers more often...sometimes it took a while for them to de-hook the fish). He was also excellent at cleaning the fish when we arrived back at dock. All in all it was a good time.

Went on the 1/2 day trip to "test the water". Did not want to be stuck on a crappy boat all day. The boat was clean and nice. The mates were nice. We did not catch many fish that day but others on the boat did very well. All in all if was a good day and we will definitely try the full day fish trip and maybe we will be lucky and catch more fish.

Fishing was great. Had lots of fish - mostly "grunts" although caught a few Groupers. Bought some food on-board and was reasonably priced. Would probably go again. This day was great. Waters were calm, low 80's and sunny. As with any fishing, it can be hit or miss depending on time and weather.

I would definitely go deep sea fishing with Queen Fleet again. The boat was nice, the crew was friendly, and we had great fishing success.
