- Depart at approximately 7:30 p.m.
- Cruise the Intracoastal Waterway
- Weather permitting, venture out into the Gulf of Mexico to enjoy the sunset
- Head for the downtown area to see Clearwater's awesome fireworks show!
- Return to the dock at around 10 p.m.
What Is Not Included?
Food and drink are not included in the price but are available for purchase in our well-stocked galley. Sorry, no personal food/drink/coolers permitted on this trip.

- Do I have to purchase tickets in advance?
- Advance purchase is strongly recommended, as trips often sell out quickly. To maximize your chances of getting the day and time you prefer, please buy your tickets well in advance. Tickets can only be purchased with a Visa, Mastercard or American Express.
- Which boat is this trip on?
- This trip will be on our vessel, the Gulf Queen. The 75 ft Gulf Queen holds up to 85 passengers and is known for its agility and speed!
- Are there restrooms on board?
- Yes, there are separate men's and women's restrooms available on board for your convenience.
- How long will the fireworks show be? How much of the trip is cruising and how much of it is stationary watching the show?
- Expect the fireworks show to run about 30-40 minutes. Therefore, about 1/3 of the trip will be spent actually watching fireworks.
- Is there any fishing/sightseeing on this trip at all?
- While there is no fishing on this trip, we will go out and watch the sun set then come back in and position ourselves for the awesome fireworks display.
- Is the boat safe?
- Yes, the Gulf Queen is US Coast Guard inspected on a regular basis and is extremely safe and stable.
- Are there life jackets on the boat? Do I have to wear one?
- Yes, we carry enough for our passenger capacity, plus a certain number of small child life jackets. No one is required to wear one during the trip though! We do ask that they remain in the storage compartment unless you would like to wear one.
- Will there be any fishing or sightseeing on this trip at all?
- While there is no fishing on this trip, we will go out and watch the sun set then come back in and position ourselves for the awesome fireworks display.
- Will we get wet?
- No, you should not get wet while on the Gulf Queen.
- Can I bring my own food and/or beverages?
- There will be food and drink available for sale on board, but feel free to bring a small cooler along with you if you wish. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted, and glass containers of any kind are not allowed.
- What kinds of food and beverages are available for sale on board?
- We have burgers, hot dogs, snacks, sodas, water and beer available for purchase on board. Other options typically include Philly cheesesteaks, barbecued ribs or meatball subs. Prices are very reasonable and range from 50 cents to $5.00. Please bring extra cash with you to purchase delicious items on board!
- Can I bring a personal chair to sit on?
- No personal chairs are allowed on to be brought onto the vessel. There is bench-style seating all around the boat for your convenience.
- What happens if it rains?
- Typically if it rains, they will postpone the fireworks show for 15 minutes until it’s safe to continue. Very rarely will there be a drawn-out storm this time of year, if anything, there may just be a passing squall, in which case, we will wait it out.
