Queen Fleet Deep Sea Fishing

For starters, our equipment was very outdated. For the same price, the ship next to us had all new rods and reels. Also, there was no reason to go out 1.5 hours out to sea which equals 3 hours of en route boat time. All the time we had to fish was 40 minutes out of the 4hours. 20 minutes was spent on repositioning twice and re dropping anchor. Many of us did catch something but very few mangrove snapper a person. So much time was wasted just sailing...and it was not worth it. Take your money to a different charter co.

Went with our family of four children ages 3, 11, 13 & 15. We all had a blast! Each of us caught 4-8 fish each. Mostly snapper but we did catch a couple puffer & grouper but they weren't big enough to keep. The deck hand fillet all the fish for you for a very small fee, very worth it! The deck hand Jason was a great help whenever we needed it. Our 3 year old took a nap for part of the trip in his stroller which was nice so mom and dad could just enjoy fishing too!

Dolphin sighting was guaranteed, and the guarantee was kept. The Captain sure does know where to look for them. The staff was also very courteous, when I lost my cap to the wind, they turned the boat around and fetched it!

We enjoyed the trip very much and we will certainly return to fish again on the Dixxie Queen next time. The first mate was very good and we all enjoyed the beautiful weather. Thanks for a wonderful trip and we will be back again next year.

The time was better than expected, saw lots of dolphines great time :)

Five of us went out on the trip (Four adults one child) It was a blast from the start. We got to see about 10-15 dolphins. If you get a chance you have got to do it.

Had a great time on the Sea Screamer, we saw 5 dolphins and my 16 year old niece told me this was my best idea ever! We would definitley do this again if we get back there. The crew was informative and fun!

This was a great trip. We saw lots of dolphins and they followed us on the boat and leapt out of the water behind us as they played in the boat's wake

We had a good day fishing but on an 8 hr.day half was a boat ride and less than half day spent fishing . Would like to have more time fishing and less boat ride. The crew was helpful and everything went nicely.

My husband and I decided to go on a half day fishing trip while we were visiting Cleawater Beach in the beginning of November. We were so glad we chose Queen Fleet! We both love fishing, but this was our first time deep sea fishing. The crew were all very helpful, especially Jeff, who gave us step by step instructions on how to use the poles and the best way to bate the hooks. My husband and I caught about 30 fish between us and were able to keep all but three. We will definately be going on this trip again on our next visit to Clearwater!

Capt Eric was kind enough to email to let me know that Saturday was going to be really rough and suggested Sunday instead. Rescheduling was a breeze also. Capt Bob put us on some Monster group, caught a 18 pounder and came in 2nd place in the pool. I also walked away with "the one that got away" story of a monster kingfish (atleast 35 pounds according to Tim) got right up to the boat but took off when we tried to gaff and snapped my 100 pound leader. Enthusiastically Recommended QueenFleet to anyone looking for a great experience.
