Cod Fishing Trip

We had a lot of fun on this fishing trip. The crew was helpful and knowledgable, especially Josh, who was assisting everyone with their fish. We caught ten cod fish and Josh filleted them for us. We had enough fish for a couple of weeks so we earned back a lot of the money we spent on the tickets. It was a lot of fun and we are already talking about planning another trip.

We were surprised to find that we were on a combo trip. We spent about 5-6 hours fishing (moderate luck 12 between my wife and I). Then we switched to pulling Crab pots. That was great. We got a full limit per person (6 ea) Dunginess crab. Good deal and great fun. Capt Brian and deck hand Josh were great and very helpful. Would go again in a heart beat. We may even take our kids out when the come for my retirement party in Dec.

The deck hands were very helpful and friendly! Was happy to come back in with a bag of fillets! Already planning on a charter with a group of friends for Albacore or Halbit of flat fish! Thanks guys!

There were 7 drunken belligerent individuals on our boat. They bullied there way to our spot and made us move after we got there early to claim our spot! During the trip they urinated over the side not in restroom. They cursed and yelled at other passengers. The crew did nothing to protect the other paying passengers from their behavior. The fishing was bad, but their drunken behavior made the trip worse than it had to be!!!!!!!!!!!! The only way to stop them was to argue or ignore them. Since I did not want to fight we ignored them, but the Captain and crew should have at least stopped them from urinating and placing beer cans in other people's fish bags!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't mind drunks, but keep them under control and make sure they don't intimidate other passengers or you may have a physical altercation next time. If your crew can't give us the courtesy of controlling the drunks, my party can't in all fairness recommend your fishing trip in the future. We all had a good trip with lots of cod caught. The crew was helpful and attentive. It was a long boat ride, but worth the effort. It could be mentioned to bring food as none is served.

deck hands were fine, captain spoke about 10 words and provided minimal assistance. People on boat were allowed to get extremely drunk, pee over the side constantly. Captain was aware, did not try to contain people screaming obscenities and being offensive. good thing no women were onboard. Boat had minimal to no comforts, not even water/coffee/snacks available on board. bathroom filthy. otherwise, we did catch some fish.

My husband, daughter and I spent the day on Randy's boat, 'The Carolina' We had a wonderful experience. Each of us catching our limit of fish. Our 'Deck Hand', Daniel was extraordinarily helpful and friendly. We recommend a day of fishing with "Randy's" !!!! 4 stars indeed!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, we love our wives, but let's face it, we all need a little time to ourselves! And what better way to spend that time than with a bunch of friends going fishing! Randy's Fishing Trips was just the right ticket for our enjoyable, and very much deserved time to ourselves. We all caught a mess of Rock Cod, and had the Deck Hand "Jimmy" clean and fillet our catch for us. Let me tell you,... "Jimmy" is the "Quick Draw McGraw" of cleaning and filleting fish! Amazing! This guy can clean and fillet these fish blind folded! Not only that, but these guys were always there to help you with a "stuck line", a "tangle", or even set your rod, tackle, and bait up for you (if you want them to). Guys, thank you for a great time fishing, we all enjoyed it tremendously and we'll see you for Albacore soon! Jim, "Cubby", Felix, Anthony, and Minh
