| Unfortunately, the sea was very choppy. My brother and I were sick the entire trip. He had his pole in the water once the entire 7 hour day. I wasn't a lot better off. Eight of the other passengers/fishers never got their pole in the water the entire day. Obviously, it was a wasted $200. |

| My son and I have fished all over the western U. S. and have never been out on the Pacific Ocean fishing. Not knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised. The deck hand was very helpful with answering questions as well as very busy getting fish off hooks so that more could be caught. The real treat was watching the deck hand fillet all the fish in rolling seas and keep all ten of his fingers. Can't wait to come back and do this again!! |

| There was way to many people on the boat. We were initially told that everyone should be spead out every 3 feet. It tuned out to be every foot to foot and a half. This caused all of our fishing lines to get tangled with each other. This was very frustrating for me along with everyone I was next to. I have been fishing for years so therefore I know how to try and prevent this from happening, but it was next to impossible. Very disappointing. |

| Randy's Fishing Trips are great. It was my first time out with randy's company and my wife's very first time out on a fishing boat....she did get sick, but we had a blast and the bites kept coming. the captain searched for fish with great percision, and he found great spot's for us. At times the bites were so fast, as soon as my weight hit bottom I had a fish. My wife was happy that we went, but she could'nt wait to get off of the boat. thank you for a awsome day Randy's Fishing Trips. |

| Good fishing trip. Good skipper. Good Deckhand. I got seasick, but also brought home some great tasting fish. I would recommend this trip. |

| This was definitely one of the most memorable fishing trips I've been on. Regardless of being soaked to the bone (mostly because I didn't watch the weather channel) I enjoyed the fishing experience. The quality of fish is prime and the skill level required to catch them isn't much so this would be a good trip for kids. If you're a fisherman that doesn't mind the elements, then this is a must. Again if you're planning on bringing kids then you should check up on the weather because it can get rough the further south you go (worst weather was by Big Sur because of a storm that was blowing in). Deck hands are really on the ball and the captain definitely knows where to find them. At the time I'd reccomend Randy's over anyting in Santa Cruz. The fish aren't biting there due to the ater being too cold so monterey is your best bet for rock cod. |

| paid for cod fishing trip but something happened from 3pm the day before and the morning of .we showed up on the morning of and it seemed something changed .person at the check in area said do you want to go halibit fishing also?
then it cost me 20.00 dollars for halibit rigs and weights /.when we did go cod fishing as what we paid for it was too late in the day the winds were up .And I dont think we went out far enough to catch any good size fish all very small. and this was my 17th trip in 5 years. maybe gas cost to much? |

| First off we spent more time traveling there and back, than actually fishing.poor tackle rentals, equipment was probably 20 plus years old.the trip was over booked ,40 plus fishermen on the boat.hardly any bait only a little cut squid.but the deck hand did do a good job cleaning alot of fish. |
