Randy's Fishing and Whale Watching Trips, is a small family business that was established in 1949 by Salvatore (Randy) Randazzo. Randy encouraged fun, affordable, family oriented recreation with dedicated attention to honesty and satisfying his guest’s desire, a tradition that has endured 50 years.

Our captains have been examined, certified competent and issued a Master License by the United States Coast Guard and have been operating vessels to carry "Passengers for Hire" throughout the course of the last 20+ years.
Their expertise and ability to operate a vessel is exceptional.

Come celebrate our nation's birthday with Randy"s Whale Watching, getting up close to the legendary fireworks show as we cruise out into the bay.

We'll be surrounded by other boats in a festive holiday atmosphere, as the spirit of 4th July fills the harbor! On this special night:

  • Experience the magic of Independence Day from the greatest place in Monterey - on the water!
  • Bring your friends, enjoying food and drinks available from our shop prior to your trip.
  • Enjoy a bay cruise prior to the fireworks show.
  • Watch the fireworks show take place above, illuminating the entire bay.

What Is Not Included?
Make sure to bring your own camera! Food and beverages are not included in the cost of the ticket, so feel free to bring your own (non-alcoholic, and no glass bottles, please).
