Randy’s Photo Expeditions can help you get that photo! We are now catering to the photo enthusiast from the hobbyist to the professional. On our trips we have a professional photographer with years of experience on the Monterey Bay along with expertly trained crew helping you get “the shot” for fun or for your portfolio.

Activity Description
Do you love taking ocean shots from the land, but always find yourself wishing you could get out on the water? Have you ever had great shots ruined by horrible lighting?
Come aboard with Randy's and our professional photographer guides will assist you with all your lighting needs as they aid the captains to keep the best scenery in line with the sun's rays. We also limit the passengers on our trips so everyone has their own spot.
On this 6-8 hour premier expedition package there are many possibilities of what we will see, including:
- The sun rising over the mountain range behind Monterey on our morning trips
- Wildlife lined up with the sun setting in the afternoon
- Sightings of Sea Otters, Sea Lions and Seals
- A variety of Whales and Dolphins and also Sea Birds
- Many different landscape compositions
- The guidance of a professional photographer
- The opportunity to compose and take a variety of different photos, as the sun's level changes throughout the day on these extended trips
We welcome photographers of all levels, as well as sea life enthusiasts who would like nothing more than to see wildlife and learn about the ecology of the animals we encounter.
Our vessels are up to 60 feet, leaving a lot of area to cover. The captain and crew will do their best to get you great shots of animals engaging in exciting or unusual behavior!
What Is Not Included?
Cameras are not provided. You must bring your own camera.

Food or drinks are not included in the tour price, but feel free to bring your own on board or purchase some snacks to enjoy from our shop and the snack bar on the vessel.
