Randy's Fishing and Whale Watching Trips, is a small family business that was established in 1949 by Salvatore (Randy) Randazzo. Randy encouraged fun, affordable, family oriented recreation with dedicated attention to honesty and satisfying his guest’s desire, a tradition that has endured 50 years.
Our captains have been examined, certified competent and issued a Master License by the United States Coast Guard and have been operating vessels to carry "Passengers for Hire" throughout the course of the last 20+ years.
Their expertise and ability to operate a vessel is exceptional.

Come join our fishing experts on a fun-filled trip that is sure to get you to the best fishing spots in Monterey Bay!
The best-known species is the Chinook, also known as the King salmon, which is the largest species of Pacific salmon, averaging about 15 to 25 pounds in weight.
Our vessels are clean, dependable, constantly maintained and operated by highly qualified personnel to ensure a safe and fun excursion.
During the 5 - 9 hour trip, you will enjoy:
- An opportunity to catch up to 2 Salmon
- A lively fishery that proves to be as challenging as it is fun
- A chance to catch fish that make a delicious meal

- A trip to the best Salmon fishing spots in Monterey Bay
The length of each trip depends heavily upon the "bite" and can range from 5 hours to 9 hours. Additionally, the trip will end if all participants have already caught their limit of fish; if everyone catches their limit early, we will return early.
What Is Not Included?
Fishing equipment, licenses, and fish cleaning services are not included; they can be rented/purchased at the shop prior to departure. A complete equipment package with license will cost $30 per fisherman. Live bait, if available will cost $5 per person. Fish cleaning will be approximately $5 per fish.
Please note that anyone 16 years of age or older (and who is fishing on the trip) is required to have a fishing license in their possession before getting on the boat. If you do not have one, we have one-day licenses and annual licenses available in the shop that can be purchased prior to departure.
