| We arrived half an hour early and the boat would be leaving half an hour late due to the mist, so we had a spare hour! The lady behind the desk was so friendly, we could take coffee as much as we liked and we could take a look at the sea lion dock! That was great, sea lions and pelicans so close!
The trip on the boat was great as well. The captain asked us all to look around and try to spot whales or dolphins. He kept us informed when we spotted a whale behind us, told us why we didn't go back. And then we stopped just like that. Two humpback whales in the vicinity! We were told about their habits, how to photograph the famous tail, etc. It was amazing! And after that we left to check out three killer whales that were close! So we were very lucky.
I would absolutely recommend Randy's Fishing Trips, we had a blast! |

| Randy's Whale Watching has a smaller boat than some of the others available. The advantage of this is that we were not fighting for rail space to see the whales and dolphins. Had great views and were able to move about the boat with ease. |

| Thank you so much for such a fun trip! My boyfriend is from Spain and came to visit CA. We had some much fun in the ocean waters and were happy that our boat got so close to the humpback whales and the rare sighting of sharks (they were filter feeders--thank goodness!). The other whale-watching boats were too big to go quickly to the whales. Our tour guides were amazing, too! They were so friendly and the deck-hand told fun stories and jokes.

| My husband, 10 year old child and I had a great time with Randy's. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to see the whales and other wildlife. We saw a humpback whale and dolphins as well as sea otters and lots of jellyfish. Our captain did a great job of trying to protect us from the huge waves and finding the wildlife to see.
I would recommend motion sickness meds to anyone who even gets a little sick, as you never know what the waves will be like when you go out, and it gets pretty rough! |

| We really enjoyed our whale watching trip. They took us out and found the whales right away. Our three boys LOVED it. The boat was clean, the crew was polite, and it was a great experience. We would recommend Randy's. |

| It was a great trip out on the ocean. I think we got closer to the whales than the other boats I saw out there. The boat we rode on the "Carolina" has seen much better days but for the price it was a good deal!
I would suggest sitting near the front of the boat..it seemed like they got a better view. We saw dolphins, humpback whales, and seals. The only thing lacking was comfortable seating and the kids lost interest on the way back. All in All..WORTH IT!!! Check it out!!! |

| We ended up being put on another boat , and they had already boarded their clients, so there was no room for us on the front end of the boat. It was also really cold out on the water, and they ended up staying out later than expected. We only saw 4 whales, no dolphins, and some sea otters, so was a bit dissapointed. |

| This is the first time I have been whale watching. I loved it. We saw a couple of whales, dolphins, and seals and were pretty close. The water was a little choppy so it was hard to get a good picture, but it didn't take away from the fun. I would recommend this trip if you have never been. |
