| I booked and payed for our wale watching trip about 1 week in advance online. We were scheduled for a 1PM trip. Our family arrived enthusiactically and we were told due to rough seas the 1PM was cancelled. The weather seemed nice and I asked why we were not phoned earlier so we could have avoided preparing and traveling to the docks for the trip.The person at the counter said they thought we were on the 10AM trip. Randy's had a hard copy showing our 1PM confirmation. Randy's apologized and said they credited my charge card since we could not do a future trip. |

| Our captin tried to get close to some gray whales but it looks like they are smarter that what you think. I wish we would have been closer to them but the boat ride was nice. |

| We picked Randy's because it said it was family friendly on their website. My kids inded had a lot of fun, only Mom got sea sick. Take dramamine before leaving as a precaution. We saw many whales and was well worth the trip. |

| The trip was well worth it!! My three year old daughter loved the rocking of the boat and all the whales she saw on the trip. It was a wonderful family experience. The boat was clean and well maintained. |

| My husband, 10 year old child and I had a great time with Randy's. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to see the whales and other wildlife. We saw a humpback whale and dolphins as well as sea otters and lots of jellyfish. Our captain did a great job of trying to protect us from the huge waves and finding the wildlife to see.
I would recommend motion sickness meds to anyone who even gets a little sick, as you never know what the waves will be like when you go out, and it gets pretty rough! |

| we started out 30 minutes late 2 pm instead of 1.30 as advertised and then we returned after 1hour fourty five minutes, we understood the trip to be three hours long.
we did see two whales for a short while and then returned to port ,the boat that was out at the same time as us left at 1,30 pm and came back at 4.30 pm thats what we thought we paid for. |

| We went out on a winter afternoon (late December) - the crew members were friendly and seemed very competent. There were just not many whales out in the bay that day - certainly not the fault of the tour operator - but we did manage to find a couple huge groups of dolphins and that was wonderful. All in all, it was a very enjoyable day - even though we didn't get to see the whales. We'll try again in the future! |

| Please do not take small children on this trip. The boat is very small and if the weather is bad like it was for us, there is a big possibility your child could fall over. I had to hold onto my child the Entire time and was very scared we might go over the sides. They should not allow children under 8 onto the boat. |
