| I enjoy the trip and the captain was doing his best to localized the best views. The only problem was when I used the restroom I did not find toiled paper,it was a little inconvenient but over all everything was fine. | ||||||

| Everyone caught their limit. Weather was great, the tour guides gave us the inside track. No ling-cods but the rock-cods were all keepers. | ||||||

| Went out on the Chubasco with Brian as Capt and Josh for Deckie for a low key rockfishing trip in local waters. Pick of fish was steady but not a red hot bite and quality could've been better. Pluses included a short run, but the size of the fish suffered as the local reefs have been hammered over the years. Needless to say, the boat did limit on small rockfish and one keeper Ling by noon so fresh fish (goal for trip) was had by all. Personally, I would rather pay more for fuel and run farther to get into less picked over waters. Josh was solid as deckie, Gidget (pup) was fun to have around to keep us smiling. Would go again if hunger for fresh rockfish strikes. | ||||||

| I booked a whale watching tour (3 hour, yep just like Gilligan). We were really excited to go out on the water and hopefully see some marine life. I did a google search for tickets and Zerve came up. Wow are they amazing! Friendly, personable, professional and really happy! I wish they could buy out Ticketmaster, that would be life changing for me =) If you need tickets for whale watching they are THEE place. The company was an hour late so instead of leaving at 1:30 we left at 2:30. This wasn't the end of the world but with daylight savings time rapidly approaching, every minute counts, quite literally. Once the boat was ready to head out, our tour guide (couldn't understand what he told us his name ways even after the third time) got on the PA system and began mumbling something we assumed were instructions on what to do if there was an emergency and we had to abandon ship. I grew up on boats and know how dangerous open water can be so in my opinion that was a huge FAIL not to be clear and concise to a group of people you are taking an hour and a half away from shore. After that we never heard a single word from the captain or crew. Not even to introduce themselves. SO UNPROFESSIONAL and not a friendly way to conduct business. What is even more surprising is this was in Monterey, not New York. People just aren't unfriendly down here (I should know I grew up in Pacific Grove). Mmmhmm it gets worse, there was a young girl on the boat who was clearly not feeling well and when one of the crew members did a walk around the boat (assuming this was to make sure everyone was okay) he stopped, looked at her, shrugged his shoulders, smirked and rolled his eyes then just walked away. Didn't offer any suggestions or help he couldn't be bothered. After not seeing anything, not an otter, seal or other mammal the boat did an abrupt 180 and headed back to shore. Not even an "I'm sorry folks it looks like we won't see anything today and it's time to turn around and head back". Nope not these ignoramuses. They just flipped the boat around and wait to get on the PA system once we were back in the docks to say "Thanks, sorry about not seeing anything and feel free to leave us a tip". What?!?! Are you out of your minds?!? I've been on other whale watching trips where we didn't see any whales but the staff were engaging, pointing out local birds, shared facts about kelp, marine life behaviors etc. Randy's not-so-much, nothing, nada, zilch, zero, bupkiss! | Had A great time fishing with my 17 year old son , caught full limt of rock fish with the help of deck hand Josh who made sure everyone was informed of regs and caught full limit of fish.He also did a great job cleaning the fish. Monteray is a great place to bring family with the aquarium ,cannery row and fishermans warf all of the restaurants were outstanding clean and friendly. | ||||||

| it was a 6 hour barf fest - sea sick the entire time and didn't catch any fish. if i had known the seas were going to be 7-8 ft i would never have climbed on board. but to their credit, I didn't ask so i can't really blame them. I just wish they would tell people up front. more than half the passengers were as sick as I was. what fun. this is my 3rd lousy party boat experience - Texas California, and Alaska. I'm through | ||||||

| My kids and I had a great time together eventhough the fishing was poor. This fishing area has been over fished and there are only the few very little fish left. There were 3 boats that departed from the same location we did and there must have been others from other locations. Overall to many boats have over fished the bay. | ||||||

| This trip was awesome. I took my aunt and grandfather who were visiting from out of town along with my boyfriend and my dog and they all had a blast. The crewmen were really helpful to my grandfather who needed assistance getting on the boat. They knew exactly where to go to find whales and dolphins and they made the experience unforgettable. I was really happy that my dog got to come along with us, since he had an awesome time. Traveling with my pet is a big deal to me, so I appreciate this a lot. The whole experience and the scenery was fantastic. We were all really pleased with what we saw and the whole trip. A truly memorable day :) | ||||||

| Our trip was exciting and I would go on it again, the only thing was the water was extremely choppy, and I don't really think we should have gone out. We saw one whale and then had to come back in. Overall I would rate our trip a 8. | ||||||
