| It was a good trip and we saw 5 whales in all. The only negative aspect was cabin on the boat. A mighty stink in there. | ||||||

Fun Rock Cod "catching" trip

| We had a great time. 5 of us went on the trip. Had a blast catching rock cod. Had to throw a whole bunch back because we caught too many. Captain was great on telling us the depth of the fish so that we know where to catch them. Deck hand was helpful in helping untangle tangled lines. Would do it again but recommend Dramamine to those that get sea sick (one of our member didn't fish because he was sick). | ||||||

| Boat was clean, boarding was organized, captain put us on fish,..even though he had to burn up a lot of fuel to do so, deck hand Josh was running the whole day, almost everyone caught limits of sizeable fish. Out of our five guys, we each went home with about 15lbs of fillets. We'll do it again. | ||||||

| This was our 1st time deep sea fishing we all had a great time. One of our group members got alittle sick but still had alot of fun. The crew members were very helpful and had a lot of patience with us due to the fact we did not no what we were doing. We caught alot of fish and even had it cleaned thanks to our crew. I highly recommend this trip and will become a regular. THE BEST TIME FOR YOUR MONEY ON RANDYS BOAT!!!! | ||||||

| My mother, who is in her 60s, came to the bay area to visit us and we wanted to take her on a little adventure and go whale watching. It was a great trip! The boat was slightly smaller than some of the other whale watching boats but that's exactly what made it so nice. The bay was a little choppy but if you look out at the ocean and not into binoculars or a camera all the time, you won't get sick. Guaranteed. The crew was a the quiet but knowledgeable captain and what looked like his 16 year old son (who was also quiet). I was not touristy so if you are looking for a quiet hunt for whales this is the trip to take. | ||||||

| Randy's Fishing Trips did a great job getting us ready for the day early in the mornig and teaching us the right techniques for landing fish. The whole group caught their limit of fish. The deck hand, Tory, did a great job giving everyone little tips and getting our lines untangled and cleaning our fish when we ere done. I'd recommend this trip to anyone. | ||||||

| The trip was well worth it!! My three year old daughter loved the rocking of the boat and all the whales she saw on the trip. It was a wonderful family experience. The boat was clean and well maintained. | ||||||

| Every year I try to plan a fishing trip with my grandsons, 9 & 12 years old. We had a great time on Randy's Fishing Trip. Grandma, Grandpa, Dad, boys all had a great time. The staff is sooo knowledgable and patient! They assisted us, and the group on the boat with a quick fishing instruction, baiting and taking the fish off the hook for us. I would reccommend this trip to the novice as well as the experienced fisherman. I would also stress the Dramamine before the trip; as well as layering your clothing. Randy has an excellent pre-trip article and it certainly covered everything. We would like to go back and catch an albacore or something huge! HA! We plan to do it again. | ||||||

Lots of whales, chilly day end of May

| My cousins were visiting from Florida and Lorrie wanted to go on a whale watch. The weather was a bit cool that day, no sun at all. It looked more like rain so we all bundled up with layers and jackets and hoods. The staff on the boat were excellent. They were very kind and polite at all times. No problems there at all. They had to go pretty far off shore into some Rocky water because the whales had moved to this area. We saw so many whales, so many sightings. I really enjoyed the packs of sea lions that follow the whales around. They really kept moving the boat around so that it wouldn't be that rough but it was just that kind of day. I ended up getting sea sick a lot on the way back and the staff gave me some ginger to take. We were out a good three hours and it was cold and i wasn't feeling that well when i got home but it was really no fault of Randy's. I just don't think i have the stomach for boat trips. I would highly recommend Randy's but if you get sea sick like me take a pill before you go and bundle up if its a chilly day. | ||||||

| Took my 15 y/o and 13 y/o boys deep sea fishing for the first time. Deckhand Josh was great! We were right on the fish and everyone on board caught their limits of rock cod. We had a great time! | ||||||

| We had a rocky good time on the boat. It was smaller than we thought it would be, but that way we really got the feel of the ocean. The captain was very diligent in racing down the whales and we got some good viewings. He was not about to give up! | ||||||

| The trip was good. we saw atleast 10 Whales. but extremely not recommended for the people who are of "sea sick" . The Cruise will be so rocking in the middle" that is unbearable". | ||||||

| This was the second trip we took with Randy's Whale Watching. While we mainly encountered dolphins the first time, we got to see lots of whales this time. We enjoy the low key way and the smaller boat. We feel that the crew enjoys the ocean and wild life themselves and respects the animals; they make the trip an exploration of nature rather than a tourist attraction. We are looking forward to our next trip and are curious to what we'll get to enjoy then. | ||||||
