| My wife and I went on the Chubasco on a beutiful Saturday morning for a rock fish trip. We each caught our limit of 10 fish within a couple of hours. We will definitely do it again on our next visit to Monterey. We look forward to a Halibut and Salmon trip. I want to say Thank You to the crew of the Chubasco for making our trip very exciting. | ||||||

| Unfortunately Randy's couldn't get enough customers for their trip, but set us up on the Princess line down the dock. We spotted a mother Humpback and her calf and followed them around for about an hour! It was awesome! | ||||||

| My review does not reflect the staff or the trip at all. The staff was friendly and knowledgable and I would recomend the trip to other ADULTS. I would not recommend it for families. I would have apprecaited a "freindly warning" when purchasing the tickets that the water may be choppy and young children have tendancy to get sick easier than adults do. We probably would have listened to that warning and not attended this trip with them. Thanks, Kim | ||||||

| This weekend I bought a ticket for my husband and his friend. They had a blast and are planning another trip again but with more of their friends. | ||||||

| The folks at Randy's Fishing Trip were not understanding. I was asked to take another charter after I reserved in advance (online) for a specific time and date. I had hotel cancellation fees I believe they should have covered. If you have the opportunity to take a different charter, do so. | ||||||

| I picked this whale-watching company because it was middle of the range for cost of the ones I looked at online. The boat was basically a regular old fishing boat which really didn't accomodate many passengers very well. Only about half of the group could actually sit down, and for those of us standing, it was a long 3.5 hours! I was really glad we saw whales (we saw a number of humpback whales), otherwise the experience would not have been very pleasant. | ||||||

| The trip had to many people aboardm we was always hooking up the people on the other side of boat. 2 1/2 hours traveling out to fish was a long trip for cod! but of course that is 2 1/2 hours back in. Not much time for fishing between getting hook with other side, and 5 hours total round trip. | ||||||

| Excellent trip! The boat hands were very friendly and helpful and found us some great fishing spots! The only problem was figuring out what to do with all of the fish! | ||||||

| I took my 12-yr old son out to fish for Rock Cod on Monterey Bay and it turned out even better than I imagined it would. He and I both had a blast, caught our limit of fish, and now we get to eat them for many months after freezing our catch. I particularly like the discounted rates for youngsters. That helps a lot. All in all, highly recommended! | ||||||

| Tour left on time, stayed over the allotted time to see baby whales. Narration very well done. Captain very considerate of all passengers ability to view whales, otters and sea lions. Highly recommend! | ||||||

| Friendly staff and crew. Great location on Fishermans Wharf. Ideal size boat. Superb wildlife, especially the Humpbacks. All in all, a wonderful trip that I would recommend to anyone. | ||||||
