| Thank you so much for the trip. This has been the 6th time we have gone out with Randy's and everytime has been a pleasure. This trip was very eventful since the sea's were so rough. This was in no way Randy's fault and they provided a great trip. | ||||||

| There was nothing wrong with the company. They did a fine job. However, the water was quite "turbulent" and the whale watching trip was pretty scary. I didn't realize how rough it would be. My partner got seasick and we were completely soaked. Wimps or not, it turned out that being out in the ocean is just not for us. | ||||||

| My group and I had a great time, the whales were very active, and the capitan was relentless on finding whale activity. We had many close encounters and the view was fantastic! The boat was clean and accomodating and the staff was very helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend Randy's to anyone looking for a friendly, helpful, and fun experience. Thank you to the staff! | ||||||

| Trip was good in that everyone caught their limit of Rock Fish. However, I felt rushed by the crew to quickly obtain my limit, regardless of size of the fish. I had been keeping the sizable fish (2-4 lbs) and was throwing back those that were 1 lb or less. Nearing only the 2nd hour of fishing we were given a 15 minute warning that fishing would end and we would be returning so "hurry up and finish out your limit" This was disappointing since I had paid for a 6 hour trip but only got 2 hours to fish. Even if you include the 1 hour boat ride out and 1 hour back, that was still only 4 hours total. While their claim to everyone getting limits recently is true, they were not all quality fish. Since there were Ling Cod available if fished below the Rock Fish, it would have been nice for us to have a chance to switch over and try to get some Lings after everyone got their Rock Fish limit. I was forced to keep 3 or 4 small 1 lbers, which was disappointing since it would've only taken another hour or so to sort out the small ones and find some bigger ones to keep. | ||||||

| We enjoyed this trip very much. It was jsut the right length for our kids adn great to get to see the whales and other animals. We packed a lunch to eat out on the boat which helped to pass the time until we found a whale. We would definitely recommend this trip to other families with children. | ||||||

| Randy's whale watching is one of the best treasures of Monterey. The service and experience they offer at such a low price can't be beat by any of the other whale watching tours. Not to mention the helpful friendly staff, clean boats, and the captain is good about finding whales and making this an enjoyable trip. | ||||||

| My family was thrilled to see the whales and other wildlife. I would like to compare with one of the other trips that offers naturalists as guides. I'm not sure it would have been significantly better. The crew was helpful and courteous. It was an exciting day. | ||||||

| We booked a 1pm whale watching trip. We expected the boat to leave on time (as advertise) but it never did until an hour later (2pm). We were not informed by any representative from Randy to say that the trip will be delay. The lack of communication and the late departure definitely represents a very poor commitment in promoting and enhancing tourism!!!! I would suggest you checking out "Princess Monterey Whale Watching" first as their boat left the harbour on time (while we are still at the dock!!) if you are planning whale watching. The whale watching is ok and the captain of the boat was pretty good in explaining the Monterey Bay wildlife and whale facts. | ||||||

| My 11 year old son and I went out cod fishing with Randy's and both caught our 10 fish limit--as did everyone else on board. The boat was basic but comfortable; the 6 hour trip included a very helpful deck hand who was kept very busy untangling lines. The boat was a bit too crowded, but it was a holiday weekend. Good times. | ||||||

| Whale watching trip sets sale from Fisherman's Wharf so there's lots to do before and after. Tour was on time and crew was courteous and knowledgable. They worked hard to ensure we did see whales at several locations. Also saw dolfins ridings the waves. Note that you're a couple of miles out in open sea. The wind picked up and the seas got pretty rough. Several passengers got mild sea-sick. Recommend that you take meds before leaving if prone to motion sickness. Overall an enjoyable experience. Recommend to anyone who loves to boat as well as view nature. | ||||||

| the deck hand was horrible he did not help at all and he was a smart ass with a attitude i have been on alot of boats and he was the worst also the captain could use some improvment he was ok at the wheel but he should of been more interactive with the guests | ||||||
