| I definitely recommend taking sea sickness medicine before you go. It's best being safe than sorry. The trip was awesome. Only saw whales, no dolphins which I was disappointed about however there is little that can be done about that. The whales were cool to see. A few even got close to the boat!! Fun time! | ||||||

| Even though I was a little sea sick, I took away beautful memories. We saw 3 whales, Dolphins and glorious huge jelly fish. Who knew? I was exhausted from the salty air and excitement, but well worth it. The crew was great, and very nice. | ||||||

| Great pilot and crew - as well as office staff. Saw Orcas, humpbacks, sea lions, seals, etc. Followed a group of dolpins. We were able to get so close to the animals, it was fantastic! | ||||||

| Please save yourself the money and go on Chris' fishing trips. We've gone with them before and decided to give Randy's a try, bad choice! First off, Randy's fishing tour is a joke. The boat drives around in circles in the bay and the fishing is horrible. Nothing but tiny fish. Chris's tour goes out much further, where you actually able to catch bigger fish. They would have us reel up our lines, drive around for 5min and come back to the same location. And supposedly they are looking for schools of fish. The crew and staff. I understand you may be tired of dealing with the same type of people day in and day out, but if you dont like your job, QUIT! I'm not one to complain about bad customer service but the staff at Randy's are the rudest bunch of guys I have ever encountered. Chris' fishing trips from now on!!!!! | ||||||

| We read one bad review that had us wondering how our experience would be, so we went in a day early to check things out. This was our first time there. The woman was very helpful and friendly. She advised us to arrive at 0630. The next morning we went at 0615 to relax and have coffee. Seems like we were some of the last people to arrive. This makes a difference, because the only place to set up was on the bow of the boat. The other places were taken. Considering the type of fishing we were doing it really didn't make a difference, except if you get sea sick, because the bow moves a lot more. Guess that's why the restrooms are up front. There were two deck hands that day and when approached, were very helpful and friendly. Oh... the dog (one of the deck hands dog) on our trip was also friendly and we enjoyed his company also. I think that a little more explanation of the event should be explained (especially to first timers) before departure, such as how to set up, how to reel in your fish, how the day will go, etc......We both caught our limit, even though the fish were really small. I took a few pictures, but I was so sea sick that I just couldn't take very many. The wife seemed ok though. We concentrated on catching fish. I might ad that the captain, did an exceptional job to get us to the fish. In my opinion this is an experience that we will remember for a long time. We highly recommend Randy's. The website just about tells you all you need to know to make a decision about which service to use. To all at Randy's - We Thank You | ||||||

| Walked into the office, gave Pete the Zserve tickets, rented rods and lures and boarded the boat. Took off to Pt Sur and caught some tasty Rock Fish. The only thing I noticed was now when you break off and loose your gear, they make you pay 5 for a new rig, guess thats the new economy. | ||||||

| I don't know what to say, but my brother, friend, and I had a real good and bad ass time fishing with Randy's. To start things off when my friend rented the fishing pole setup they provided him with the cod rig and weight, which was pretty sick. I guess I shouldn't have bought all of the 11 cod rigs that I did the day before because I didn't even lose one rig that day. The boat had a fish finder and the captain would announce when to drop and how many winds to setup the rig at the right place where the fish are, which was really accurate. We stopped at mulitple spots in search for the Lings and other rock cods. This day out I noticed one guy catch a good sized keeper Ling, and I myself caught one but it was only 21 inches, damn it, but still had one helluva time. We all caught our limits still, and had one hell of a meal when we got home. The crew helper, I thinks his name was Josh or something like that was a real helpful guy who helped unsnag my setup from the bottom a few times until I asked him on how to take it out myself which was really helpful. He helped with many tangled setups throughout the trip. At the end you can get your fish filleted by him too for 10 bucks. Super sick day out, and look forward to doing it again with Randy's, Hightly Recommended and good times. | ||||||

| It was fun. I caught my limit. We saw whales, sea lions and a beautiful coastline along the way. The captain and the mate were helpful. However, my kids were both sick the whole time due to motion sickness. Fortunately there was enough room for them to lie down on the cushioned benches. | ||||||

| The boat we went on was actually a boat from a different whale watching place. It was kinda full and when we first saw a whale it was hard to see over everyone's head. Finally, we got to see some on our side, thought we only saw the top and tail. The best part was when we got to see more of the whale, which didn't really happen. Then we went to a part where there were about a hundred dolphins. I think I liked that part best. The ride was under three hours and worth the trip if you have extra money to spend. Cool to see, but would be better if it was cheaper. | ||||||

| It's about an hour just to get to the site and then back another hour. Please make sure you dress for wind and cold. Crew was friendly. Captain manuevered boat well for best view of sightings. Do not go if you get seasick. A few people on our tour were throwing up or spent most of the time in the cabin with heads down. We saw a couple of dolphins and brief sitings of a humpback whale for about 10 minutes out of the 2 1/2 hour tour, otherwise very foggy. You may have better luck. If this is your only chance, go otherwise conditions elsewhere may be better (i.e. Hawaii). Same trip as Princess tour but less expensive by $10/person. We saw their boat out there same time. | ||||||

| The day started slow. Not many fish. The captain keep at it until he found a spot that provided quality fish and enough for limits for all on board. The deck hand was very helpful and keep everybody's line in the water as much as possible. Will do this trip again as soon as time and funds allow. | ||||||
