Its 3 engines produce 1,800 horsepower. The Riptide III is fully electronically equipped and U.S Coast Guard approved. The inside cabin is heated for your comfort and the Riptide III even has a dance floor on the top deck!

Riptide III Fishing and Cruises offers a variety of fishing experiences including; open boat day and night fishing trips, weekly New York City sightseeing cruises on the East River and private charters. Come spend an unforgettable time with the Riptide III crew.

Activity Description
Join us today for an exciting full day fishing trip on the calm waters of the Long Island Sound. On this trip we will travel 50-60 miles up to New Haven, Connecticut to spend the day porgy fishing.

Your trip will take place on one of the largest fishing vessels in City Island - The Riptide III, a 90 ft long and 24 ft wide vessel that comfortably rides up to 110 fishermen and women. You’ll enjoy the spacious fishing deck, indoor cabin, and upper deck viewing areas. Everything you need for the day's fishing, including rod, reel, bait, and tackle, is included in the ticket price.

During this daytime fishing trip, you will have the opportunity to catch:

  • Blackfish

What Is Not Included?

  • Food and Beverages: Our boat features a full service cash galley that offers soda, chips, candy, hamburgers, cheeseburgers and hot dogs for purchase.
  • Gratuities: Tips for the crew members are optional but greatly appreciated! The crew works very hard to make your trip a memorable one. Typical tips are about $20 per ticket.
