Our group really enjoyed this tour. The guides were really helpful and the free open bar was awesome. Basically it covers a good water way around Fort Lauderdale. Explain about the yacht n huge mansions and all. I highly recommend to all tourist at any age group for this tour. |

It was a great group activity and the perks were amazing as well!! I had a wonderful time sightseeing and enjoying a lovely day cruise with friends. I would have liked for it to be longer but other than that the cruise was great!!! |

Because of a short term change of our tour plan, we could'nt take part in the booked cruise! So I hope, on my next trip to the US, there will be another opportunity to see the riverfront...
Best regards, Dr. Kaminski/Germany |

The Venice of America Tour offers a glimpse at the houses and yachts of the rich and famous. It was both informative and entertaining. Lots of bling to look at. The tour talked about the properties, the people who own them, and how much some of the houses and boats cost. I would recommend it as an entertaining way to spend an hour or so. There are also several good bars and restaurants nearby in the Riverfront area for lunch or cocktails afterwards. The Jungle Queen offers a similar tour of a different part of the canals. Similarly informative and entertaining. Quite a bit pricier, but it also included dinner and a show. |

We did this exact same tour five years ago and so came with a positive outlook on the day. It felt at every turn, that they were trying to get more and more money out of you. From the forced picture in front of a written tour company sign as you got on the boat to the captain complaining about how many people were on the tour and so it would be appropriate to tip the crew well, they just never gave up on it.
The captain, who was also the tour guide spent about ten minutes plugging the bar, and the need to tip the bar staff. The ONLY tour commentary was of the price for different houses and boats. There was nothing about the area, the history, the houses etc. The icing on the cake was when my son, who usually loves things like this, turned to me and said 'Dad, is this ever going to end'?!?
My sincere advice to anyone considering this tour would be to go ahead, but do it with another company. |

They offer free drinks. Don't get fooled, you will try first drink and will not ask for another. They are terrible. The worst beer I ever had (was poured from pitcher and not very cold). No one try a hotdog after all. The tour was pleasant. The captain must be bitter person because he was talking most of the time about money. The million dollars boats and millions dollars homes. Not all the time realistic. Nothing really educational. Will be nice to learn about the rivers the water, the species living there. Or just history of that area we were cruising. The boat was nice and clean. |

The tour was great, and the Captain was funny and knowledgeable about what we were seeing. The houses and the scenery were amazing. Like I said, it was nice to see how the other half lives.
All the people on the boat were really friendly, and the price included a free drink which was a nice touch. They take your picture when you get on, and you can purchase the photo at the end of the tour. I thought the price was reasonable at $10, for a wallet size and a 5x7. No pressure at all to purchase.
Not being from the area, finding the place was a bit difficult even with google maps, so leave lots of time and get there early. It would have been nice if a detailed map or turn by turn instructions were included when you booked the tour. Other than this minor point everything worked out well and the tour was well worth the money. This was my first time using Zerve, and I found it quick and easy to use. |
