Fort Lauderdale's Venice of America Tour

It wa supposed to be a 1 1/2 hour cruise. They cut it short by 15 mins. Why? It was supposed to be a full bar but they only served a few of their selected drinks. The captain was a bit too sarcastic for our liking.

This was a cheap, interesting, short cruise of the intercoastal. Although, some of the political views of the captain could have been deleted from his narration.

Great tour! Crew is very knowledgable about local surroundings and very friendly. Lasted about an hour and a half and left on time. Just long enough to get a flavor for the local history, celebs, interesting facts about different people who own the mega mansions and mega yachts on the Nu River, etc. but not too long that we were wishing it would end. Free bar was a nice touch. Was surprised how many people took advantage of free beer and wine and left minimal, if any tip. Would highly recommend for individuals, couples or family with older kids (maybe 10 and up).

The view is beautiful, the service was poor. Boat was not very clean, with cups from previous day still in the floor. Delayed 20 min to depart, didn't take the promised 90min only 70. Crew was bored making only the minimum necessary.

Entertaining, comfortable ship,hunorous captain/tourguide aweome route rally was fun for adults and children alike! They do push tipping a little too much...felt some pressure to give tips

Comical and factual lecture on historic and modern homes along the causeway and river. A broader view from the upper deck of the Riverfront Cruise boat than the water taxi view at sea level and you're done in 90 minutes!

If you are short on time or attention span, this is a great way to get a feel for Ft. Lauderdale from the water! At 1.5hrs, we learned enough to share memorable info and details with friends, had an appreciation for the intracoastal area, and an enjoyable afternoon. The captain narrating used just the right mix of odd details, historical anecdotes and sarcasm to keep us laughing and intrigued by what we were seeing. The open bar was a plus too! I'd def recommend this tour.

We were looking for an activity that we could do with our visiting relative. I came across this on another website and then fortunately found Zerve's website. We saved HALF PRICE by booking with Zerve! It was so easy to book with Zerve and print out our reservation. This tour was well worth $10 per person!!!!! We had a wonderful time on board. The Captain was entertaining and we liked his style of oration. In fact, all the staff were very attentive and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised that the drinks on board were very good... and even the hot dogs were good! We plan on returning soon as this is a great way to spend a day when you are wondering what to do with a free afternoon.... with or without visiting family. And believe me... I will definitely be booking it with Zerve!

The boat was comfortable, the crew was hospitable, the tour was excellent..... And best of all... FREE DRINKS :)
