Take an annual trip to Ft Lauderdale in Feb, always take a city cruise as there is so much to see, and every time you find something new, have tried just about all of the tours offered by boat, found this one enjoyable and informative, but have taken other city boat tours where we got much more information, still welll worth the cost and time. nice boat.

The captain and crew were very friendly and courteous. The captain was very knowledgeable and his commentary about the sights was very witty and engaging. The crew was sincere and helpful. Will definitely do again.

We really enjoyed our ride. It was affordable, easy, and interesting to see the notable places on the waterways of Ft Lauderdale. Because of the temperature, the passengers were a bit crowded into the sunny part of the ship to stay warm, but aside from that we had a great time and would definitely go again!

The trip itself was very good, very well narrated and comfortable. However, upon getting on the boat, we were forced to have our photo taken, so it could be possibly sold to us at the end of the cruise. The photographer was very rude and said that we absolutely could not enter the boat without having our photo taken. People were lined up waiting while he took numerous photos. We finally agreed to a photo, but that was not a good experience. After that, everything was great.

The cruise was very nice. The narrative was informative and funny. The 5 pm cruise at this time of year gave you both the day view and the night view. Worth every penny!

House Tour

Bought tickets for our family (my college age sons were in from out of town) so they could see Florida from the Intracoastal Water side. Thought this would be a nice, different tour of Florida off of land. They were bored to death. The Captain, probably very nice man, pointed out each famous/wealthy person' home over and over. There was nothing said about the intracoastal itself! My sons asked why and how was it made, and I didn't have an answer. The first mention of a mansion on the water was interesting, but that was the only thing ever talked about. It was boring. We didn't really care that so and so owned this house or that one. I was bored, everyone was bored. Maybe if they threw in some facts about Florida itself, how the intracoastal developed, how far you can go on it and where, etc, etc it may have been a little more fun. I won't take anyone else from out of town on this one again.

The cruise was wonderful. As a local who was doing this with 12 other locals, we enjoyed the experience, even with Captain Curmudgeon who seemed to be a little too cynical about some of the changes that have taken place along the waterway. It gave us a good chuckle, but seriously, he needs some time off to kind of change his perspective. What was first entertaining grew old and we welcomed the change from narrator to music for the latter part of the trip.

Horrible

First impression, I approach the stand to buy a ticket and get info, and the female working was on a personal phone call and I waited patiently for 5 minutes, in the sun, while she finished her phone call. Finally she helped me and I bought 2 tickets. She told me the boat would be leaving at 1pm. The boat we were supposed to be on was already at the dock at noon. That was bad impression number 1. 1pm came and the boat started pulling away without anyone. I asked about that and was told that the water was not working and that they had to fill up on the other dock. Even if that's true then why didn't they fill the boat BEFORE the scheduled time? We all waited and watched as the operators sit around until it was time to leave, then they realize there is no water? We all had to wait an extra 30 minuets in the sun. I complained about that and we were all given a soft drink coupon for one soft drink. That was bad impression number 2. We finally board the boat and the crew was not rude, but the only interaction I had was with the server in the bar next to the captain / boat pilot. They made me uncomfortable because they were in a rush, they were busy and didn't want to be bothered. What we also didn't realize was the type of tour we were going on. It was just a water tour of other peoples houses and boats. Not our thing at all, who cares about someone else's money? I don't care about how much someone paid for there huge home they never live in. If we had known it was that kind of tour we wouldn't have gone. We thought it was going to include geography or nature or sea life, even plants and trees would have been interesting. I would go out of my way to NOT recommend this tour to everyone I know.
