Nice way to spend 90 minutes

I enjoyed the riverfront cruise. I think it was the perfect balance between tour and a nice afternoon on the water. The crew was friendly and the experience was just great. The only thing I didnt like was having to line up 30 minutes in advance. Other than that, I would recommend this to anyone local or visitor that would like a nice inexpensive way to see the sites of the Fort Lauderdale intercoastal waterways.

Enjoyable boat ride with knowledgeable captain. Nothing to give anyone a rise but just pointing out sights at a very busy harbor. Snacks are typically a bit pricey but many can live 90 minutes without stuffing themselves.

The river cruise was all that we had hoped it would be. Clean, comfortable vessel. Clear, articulate narration delivered in an educational yet interesting manner, through (importantly) clear speakers throughout the vessel. The route was very scenic and interesting. Not a disappointing moment in the entire trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed this cruise tour. The boat was clean and comfortable; the staff was friendly; and the captain was knowledgeable about the mansions and yachts.

Our group was 5 people including one disabled person. When we arrived at the check-in for the cruise excursion, we were told that the boat that is normally used for the cruises was about to be inspected by the Coast Guard and we would be going on their "party boat", which is set up for large parties, weddings, etc. Unfortunately, that boat was docked quite a ways from the check-in and required a walk that was almost too far for our disabled member. When we got to the boat, a complaint was lodged with the captain, who initially blew us off. Very quickly, he seemed to have a change of heart and ushered us to the front of the lower level of the boat, which would not normally have passengers. This was a good thing since the steps to the upper level would have been too steep and narrow for our friend. We did appreciate the effort to accommodate our party and the rest of the cruise was fairly comfortable. This is a cruise where you get to observe the houses and boats of wealthy people - "how the other half lives", or at least how they vacation. Our captain, in his narration, seemed to be resentful/envious of the people who owned these properties - you could hear it in his comments. We would have enjoyed our time better without this bias coming through in the talk. There were many reminders to visit the bar, then many reminders to leave a tip on the way out. As well as an offer to buy photographs of your party, which were shot on the way onto the boat. One of the members of our group was just about cut out of the picture, which we bought anyway for $12. All in all, the cruise was fairly enjoyable. The regular cruise boat has a lower level that accommodates guests and would have probably been easier for us to board. I would warn anyone with very limited mobility to question the cruise line about access before going on the tour.

The four adults enjoyed the boat tour but it was difficult to hear on the upper deck. Maybe if more speakers were installed. We would definitely return for another boat ride to see more of the boats and homes along the canals.

I arranged a regional meeting in Ft. Lauderdale for my sales team. This was a perfect post-meeting, pre-dinner way to unwind, relax, enjoy the sights and sounds of the intra-coastal, and do some team building. Would encourage it for anyone just wanting to unwind, relax and enjoy the sights and sounds.

We liked our initial cruise so much we took a second one two days later. The view of the homes and yachts is breathtaking and the Captains are very informative and entertaining. The entire staff is very professional and the boat is not too big and a little more intimate than a 100 person paddle wheel boat tour. I would highly recommend this tour of the Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal waterway.
