I have taken this tour many times. Whenever family and/or friends come into town, this is a great activity to take them on. I always start with lunch at the Briny Pub or the DownTowner. Great restaurants, right on the river. Then we board the Riverfront Cruise, after getting our group picture taken, settle in with a refreshment to enjoy the scenery and the commentary. Just sit back and look at the beautiful homes, the waterways, the cruise ships and the fabulous yachts. The crew is friendly and informative. The tour takes about an hour and a half. Always seems too short. This tour and a ride on the Water Taxi is a must for anyone coming to the Ft. Lauderdale area.

My wife really wanted to go on a riverfront cruise while we were vacationing in Ft. Lauderdale so we picked this one. Zerve made it very easy to purchase our tickets in advance and redeem them at the ticket booth before boarding. Seating and amenities were good and we got to see alot of beautiful homes and mega yachts of CEOs, actors, and directors. We also got our picture taken before boarding and they print and frame your photo for $10. A great way to remember our trip. The only downside was that it was practically impossible to get a cab back to Ft. Lauderdale Beach after the cruise because the Riverfront Docks area are pretty void of buisnesses anymore.

Great Trip

My girlfriend and I took the day cruise and had a great time. The ride is rather relaxing and includes an unobtrusive narration of points of interests (e.g., houses, boats, etc). Although we were concerned that we were a bit younger than the average person on the boat, we still had an enjoyable trip.

Dave and Dana did an excellent job of finding gators, turtles and birds on the N. Fork of the St Lucie River in Pt. St Lucie, FL at our 1 p.m. tour on 2/20/2014. The national preserve is nice to see and great to know that it will be available for all generations.

It was a good choice for the day. Damp, chilly and kids thought it would be a great idea. I totally agree. Staff where courteous and the captains knowledge made the difference, just the right amount. The use of Zerve was easy and straight forward.

Pleasant cruise but short on commentary

Nice weather always helps a cruise so that was excellent! We passed another cruise boat (Carrie B.) that appeared to be more full Of passengers--probably because commentary on River Cruises was very brief. Still fun to see how the other half lives

Nice boat ride, awful tour guide

We got to see many Ft. Lauderdale sites, but the tour guide seemed bitter and negative about everything. He was constantly bemoaning what had been torn down and lamenting how "everything changes." He was also short on history and detail about the city, the intracoastal waterway, and other information that would have interested us. Example: We saw Port Everglades, but no mention was made of when it was built, how many ships dock there annually, how many passengers pass through, etc. His attitude and poor narration soured what would otherwise have been a lovely tour.
