Moved to the area back in June 2010. This is something I've been wanting to do since visiting last year. I took the opportunity to take my friend who was visiting from MA. We are so glad we did! I have a 9 month old who absolutely enjoyed being outdoors on the boat. The tour was great as was the crew. The bonus was the open bar of which my friend and others thoroughly enjoyed! All in all it was one of the best days we had during her week long visit. Will definitely do it again and highly recommend to EVERYONE!

I am so happy I took my friends advice and went on this Boat Tour. Janet, who also lives in South Florida, had been on the Riverfront Cruise Boat with both family and friends over 15 times. It was hard to believe that she would repeat the same tour over and over but once I went.....I was hooked... It was like a little adventure in your own backyard. This tour is NOT JUST FOR TOURISTS..... I have lived in South Florida for over 20 years and had never done this. The boat goes out Everyday 4 times a Day so it's kinda hard to make an excuse. Go on your Lunch Break or on a weekend. Did I mention there is Free Open Bar Also, the Price is so inexpensive. I was genuinely surprised :) Definitely Worth It!!!!!!!

I made reservations for Christmas day at 5pm and when we arrived no one was there to great us. I am awaiting a full refund. For the future, please indicate if the event is canceled. We were truly dissapointed because it was Christmas day and my dad's birthday.

It was excellent, we will repeat it soon. The ship, the crew, the narration, and the tour were superb. I recommend it to all.

The trip on the boat and the conmmentary by the captain were very good. Scenery was great and his knowledge of the area and interesting comments were all good. The area of the dock in that deserted shopping center was not so great. I would find a different launch place. Overall good trip. Well done.

Staff continually on the lookout for tips after having paid a fair sum for a journey which others do for less $ p.s. Buy your ticket at the boat and save $2 a head on line fixing fee (fix what They tell you about the fix till the end and at the beginning they say you must book on line !!!!!! Try it.

Loved the scenery the staff and the free booze. Highly reccomend it!!

This was a great inexpensive way to spend the day with my husband. It was informative. Taking pictures before boarding was nice and they price was reasonable. The only thing I didn't care for was the request to tip on the way out. As we had already tipped the bartender, purchased photos and tipping at the end was a bit over the top for a 1 1/2 hours tip.

There was so much to see, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I wouldn't mind going again!

for $88.00 dollars, not really worth it. Three adults and two children. Eight and five year olds were bored, no snacks, only soda, no juices. The Intercoastal is noce and the boat should have gone more north and inland to see the otehr houses rather than the port which had no cruise ships in it whatsoever. Nice to have an open bar but when your captain and crew are always looking for a tip it becomes annoying

We live in the area and the Venice of America boat tour is a "must" whenever we are entertaining friends or family who come to stay with us. It is a wonderfully relaxing and entertaining tour, a perfect duration, and a visual feast for the eyes to see and learn about so many exotic residences that line the banks of the waterways. One of the things that makes this particular tour unique is the quality of the boat, especially with its luxurious air-conditioned lower deck and on-board bar. We chartered this company's sister yacht, the Anticipation IV, for our wedding reception 13 years ago, and the boat used for the Venice tour seems to be just a scaled-down version of that same luxury vessel. One can find other "stars homes" boat tours, for example in Miami Bayside, but they tend to have a much more "touristy" feel to them and the boats are not as comfortable. With frequent guests visiting us in Florida, we have returned to the Venice of America tour probably 7 or 8 times now, and never grow tired of repeating this experience.

This river cruise was a lot of fun, very entertaining and informational. We enjoyed it a lot and would go again.

My family and I enjoyed the 1-1/2 boat tour. It was our first opportunity to tour the waters of Fort Lauderdale and see some of the local celebrity homes. The weather was perfect. The overall trip was excellent. I would have no problem recommending this tour to my family and friends. The only thing I would have loved to have done was actually sail on the open sea. I understand why this wasn't included. Still it was a small disappointment to see the ocean and not be able to go out. In total there were 7 individuals in our group. I prepaid. The rest of the family paid when they arrived for the tour.

Took my mother and sister on boat tour of New River in Las Olas. We had a blast. I had been on this tour several times in the past with other family members and they liked it as well. We had a great day, small group and wonderful weather. I am so glad we took part in this activity. They can not stop talking about it!
