Took the river boat cruise with my mother and husband and we thoroughly enjoyed cruising down the canals and viewing the multi-miilionaire's vacation homes. The captain was very knowledgable and shared the history of the homes with us. Most enjoyed going out to the port where we watched the Oasis of the Seas depart for a cruise.
The boat we took was in very good condition and very clean. The downstairs was mostly indoor and air conditioned. There were a few seats outside in the front of the boat that were downstairs which was
nice for my mother who is 92 and unable to go up the steps on the boat. We chose to sit in the front of the
boat. Even though it was a warm day, the breeze made it comfortable to be outside. I highly recommend
this boat and if we return another time for a cruise, we will use them again. |

Good Cruise for the Money

I grew up in Ft. Lauderdale but moved away for school 20 years ago. My parents still live in the area, and my husband and I visit them 1-2 times a year. They are older so we did not want to do a half day cruise that might be too taxing for them. This was a good short cruise that hit the highlights of the Intracoastal waterways. The weather was nice enough that we were able to sit under the open (but covered) area of the boat. It was good though to also have the option of being inside the air conditioned section in case it was too hot or the usual daily rain shower caught us out on the water. The narration was informative and entertaining, and we even bought the picture they took at boarding as it was actually pretty nice. All in all - good value for the money. |

An enjoyable and educational tour. The guides were very knowledgeable about the area and it's history. The boat was very comfortable with 360 degree viewing at the upper level. I will definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a boat tour in the Fort Lauderdale area. |

We had a great time on the inter coastal tour. It was pleasant, relaxing and the drinks were cold. Our captain sounded just like Bob Newhart. He was a bit of a curmudgeon and was a bit cranky when I asked him a question. He could have been a bit louder too. But, a good time was had by all. |

Nice boat ride past some great homes. Only problem was it was hard to hear the narrator as we were cruising. Need to maybe upgrade their loudspeaker system. |

Took visiting out-of-country and out-of-state family on the tour. I'm local, but hadn't been either. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Fascinating to see how the "other half" lives! |

I have done this cruise many times. The event is well-organized, departs and returns promptly on schedule, and is an excellent activity for all at a reasonable price. For newcomers to Fort Lauderdale, the commentary is
informative and entertaining. The boat is reasonably comfortable for its size, and refreshments and bathrooms are available. |

Although the information was not all that exciting, the ride was very relaxing down the water ways! The weather was beautiful and it made for an enjoyable 1.5 hours! |

This water traversed tour and history of Fort Lauderdale was a real ice breaker and major factor for a successful spring break for my family which included ages from 20 to 80. |

I really enjoyed the captain's stories of who owns what mansion/yacht and how much it cost. I wasn't expecting to learn as much as I did. He may have missed his calling as a stand up comic.
The 1.5 hr length of cruise is perfect to get a feel for the waterway and went by fast. My young son was able to move around the boat, eat a snack at a table and use the washroom, which was convenient as those travelling with kids know. All of the crew was nice and helpful. |

Directions to the event were poor: not clear from the on-line directions where you park or how you get from the parking to the kiosk/dock. Signage was poor. Once we got to the kiosk, attendant said that the bathroom on the boat didn't work, but didn't offer any compensation for this inconvenience. Finally, though the boat ride itself was pleasant enough, it's basically just a down-and-back ride, with much of the route the same, just in different directions. I suppose that the ride is worth $23.00, but it's a hassle to get there if you're not completely familiar with the area beforehand. |
