Welcome to Robbie’s of Islamorada, a little slice of heaven right here in the Florida Keys. Founded by Robbie Reckwerdt in 1976, this is the place to feed wild Tarpon and will serve as your jumping off spot for most of your on the water activities!
When you return from your time on the water, visit our restaurant, the Hungry Tarpon for a delicious Keys-style meal! Or check out the new Fly ~ By Shops filled with Florida Keys' beautiful artwork and unique little treasures.
You're likely to find yourself in a rocking chair on our palm frond-covered deck sipping a cold beverage and discussing tides, favorite fishing holes or even politics with any or several of the old timers who come here often just because Robbie's takes them back to a simpler time.

Activity Description
Robbie's historic island tours are a perfect way to experience the raw beauty and wonder of the Florida Bay!
Our two-hour trips on the Happy Cat take you on an excursion through passages among the sea grass beds that rim the many protected shallow bays. We take you among the hundreds of small, uninhabited mangrove and hardwood hammock islands, which host an amazing variety of wildlife and create the island network of the Florida Bay.
Along the way, there will be a stop at Indian Key, slightly more than 10 acres in size and separated from Overseas Highway by water. Our knowledgeable captains and crew will take you to places with historical significance. The colorful past is very much a part of Florida history!
The foundations of buildings and cisterns on the island date back to a prosperous time. Through archaeological excavations, it is known that Indians lived there for several thousands of years before the arrival of the Spanish Explorers.

What Is Not Included?
Food and drinks are not included.
You may bring your own personal ice chest or cooler. We have drinks on board for purchase so that you can just jump on board and let us do all the leg work!
