| My oldest daughter was turning 18 and always wanted to go to New York to visit and see where some of her favorite bands got started , lived & hung out .She found this tour online and was so excited ,we booked our trip & even stayed in the famous Chelsea Hotel (Sex Pistols & Ramones her 2 favorites groups have alot of history there ) we booked this tour and had a great time learned alot , saw the things she wanted to see & more our guide was great . I would add this to your list of things to see & do while in New York City it was well worth it ,her favorite part if the trip ! |

| The tour was lots of fun and very interesting! The tour guide was competent and very knowledgeable about the 70's rock and punk New York scene. We learned a whole lot about this scene we loved already. He had a bunch of stories to tell us and many sites to show us. We would do it again any time! |

| We had a great tour. Really got under the skin of the area. Bobby gave us some great little stories and I highly recommend his book as a reminder of the trip. After spending a few days in Manhatten we were fed up of the general tourist 'shopping' vibe of the whole deal and this little tour really sparked our trip off in a new direction and we really felt we got under the skin of the East Village Area. I can not recommend this tour enough. It was brilliant. |

| An informative and entertaining walk through East Village, discovering iconic rock and punk landmarks that we would have passed by without the benefit of Bobby Pinn's huge encyclopaedic store of information.
Bobby made the whole seventies and eighties scene in East Village come alive, and gave excellent recommendations for eating, drinking, shopping in the kind of places we didn't know even existed!
Would highly recommend this tour for anyone with an interest in rock music. |

| Although most of the sites "used to be here" because of the time frame of most of the bands and musicians in this neighborhood, Bobby makes the 70s and 80s in this neighborhood come alive, with stories of the bands, promoters and club owners.
Very worthwhile. |

| I read up on the Rock Junket Tour leading up to my trip to NYC, and Pinn did not let down. Anyone who loves rock, especially the historic NY Punk scene, must pencil this walking tour down when they visit the Big Apple. It was the highlight of my trip. Bought his book, too, and used that as a guide for my own excursions the rest of the days. Can't wait to go back and hit his other tours. |

| This was, without a doubt, the highlight of my time in NYC. Ive been to NYC a number of times and am always amazed at the vast array of sites to see and things to do. However, this was the tour that gave me the best feel for the city - beyond any of the other touristy things.
Bobby gives the tour in an informal , yet incredibly informative , manner. He is personable and knowledgeable. He tailors the tour to the interests of the group. He is friendly and helpful. After the tour, I went for a beer at Manitoba's - very very cool bar.
I feel like Bobby has become and friend and will definitely look him up next time in NYC. I'll take the tour again too. |
