| I was writing a huge research paper on punk and this tour was my first resource. Pinn is a great guide with a lot of first hand accounts and was nice enough to help me with my paper after the tour. The tour shows off the city's rock history so well, I had been to the neighborhood many times and had no idea about the amount of incredible places that are there. It really makes you want to tell the rest of the city about the amazing history it has. If you love the music or just want a really cool and engaging history lesson this is how you'll want to spend your afternoon. It's awesome. |

| This tour is for those who are serious about the punk rock music scene in NY/East Village during the 70-80's. The Ramones are the holy trinity and everything starts from there...if your punk "lite" this is not the tour for you. I enjoyed the tour and learned how important the East Village was in the 70's. But I felt if I expressed loving the Go-Go's in the late 70"s "Johnny your so Queer" era, before thier pop hits, I would have been told to leave the tour. Bobby is serious and extremely knowledgeable about his music and I felt a little out of my league. I would like a tour of Billy Holiday-Diana Washington-Etta James-Judy Garland-and those great ladies and their contribution to NY music scene in the 40-50-60's. I would recommend the tour to friends coming to NYC, because there is nothing like it anywhere else and you have your own docent to the East Village. Wish we had a Bobby Pinn in LA who could take me through my own backyard and educate Los Angelenos about the music scene in the 60-70's.

| Booby Pin is a wealth of knowledge on the punk and arts scene in the East Village. Make sure to have a beer with him after the tour!

| Bobby Pinn is the perfect tour guide! My husband and I had been to NYC several times before and were looking for something a little different to do. We'd spent a lot of time in the Village but Bobby managed to show us lots of new and interesting locales. His stories were interesting and fun and we highly recommend this tour! |

| My husband and I took this tour last week and enthusiastically recommend it. We were looking for something a bit off the beaten track where we would learn about an area of interest while touring a neighborhood that we were unfamiliar with. Our guide, Bobby, was excellent. His personal love for and experience with the subject matter made for a great experience. Additionally, he brought photos, articles and album covers, which were a nice reference. We loved it! |

| I found the Tour Guide, Bobby Pin, to be extremely knowledgeable about the NYC music scene above and beyond the landmarks visited and bands and scenes included in the tour. Also, the vintage props and photos added so much to understand the changes that have occurred since the time.
This is a great tour for those who's life depended on the music that came from that era and area, and also for those who liked just a few songs here and there.
I would highly recommend this tour! Thanks, Bobby! |

| WE LOVED THIS TOUR!!
The tour guide was very very informative and knowledgeable. He took his time answering questions and even took pics of us at some of the locations. My husband and I are both musicians, so we appreciated all the work and research put in to make this tour as informative as it was. I especially enjoyed the props out guide brought along (album covers, photos, articles). GREAT!!
We would absolutely recommend this tour and when we next visit NYC we will definitely take another one of the tours offereed by the same guide (Beatles walk, etc.). |
