| Interesting and fascinating way to spend a couple of hours round the many points of musical interest around the East Village and the Lower East Side in the company of an knowledgable and enthusiastic guide. I even learnt something - Madonna used to be a drummer!
Amazed that CBGBs is now a (very, very!) expensive clothes store.
Highly recommended and very enjoyable.. |

| Excellent event!!
Interesting, funny & informative guide made the whole event great fun!
(He even suggested rearranging due to forecast bad weather a couple of days ahead ... which we did ... and it proved to be a good move!)
A good mix of walking (not too far, which seemed to suit everyone) & stops to see interesting sites & listen to annecdotes.
Well-sized group (not too big) made it easy to keep close to the guide whilst walking, which made 'chatting' between the stops possible, adding to the event.
A useful leaflet was provided afterwards with recommendations for eating/drinking/music venues + a couple of discount vouchers thrown in.
Focused mainly on Rock & Punk, but with a couple of sites to do with Blues & Jazz ... something for (almost) everyone.
Thoroughly recommended! |

| Up until now, I had not explored the East Village as much as I wanted to, and after this tour, I can't wait to go back. I'll definitely head for Manitoba's Bar, which was highly recommended by our tour guide. I'll have my nieces with me next time and I'll be able to point out some of the places our guide took us to, especially shopping on St. Mark's Place. Bobby Pinn made the tour informative and fun! You can tell he's really into all the bands and places he mentions. |

| A great tour ! I would have struggled to find many of these landmarks on my own without the help of the brilliant and enthusiastic Bobby Pinn. The East Village is an area I knew little about, but I will return to explore this area again on future trips. Of course it's a slightly bitter sweet tour as many of the buildings were not designated Landmarks and have changed and not for the better. All the more reason to take this tour !
Ps Try the Egg Creams, they are incredibly refreshing. |

| In the spirit of the independents, Bobby Pin's tour of the East Side of Manhattan is fully recommended for any fan of alternative music- thanks to his knowledge, see where the Led Zep Physical Graffiti cover was taken, where Warhol hosted his parties, the Fillmore, CBGBs and of course, The Ramones. Brilliant. |

| We had read the reviews and this walking tour proved to be every bit as interesting as promised. Not only that, we discovered the East Village and enjoyed the rest of the day in this area. Would certainly recommend to anyone with punk / rock interest |

| I can't overstate how good this tour & its guide, Bobby Pinn, are. Two hours of impassioned and entertaining NY Glam, Punk and Rock mischief in the East Village and the notorious Alphabet City. Sign up now! |

| My fourteen year old and his friend are musicians and are serious music fans. They loved the tour and were impressed with all of the knowledge and passion for music that our tour guide had. It was fun and interactive and two hours went by so fast! They can't wait to go back and take a different tour. When I asked them what was the best part of their NYC trip they said "the rock tour"! |
