| My fourteen year old and his friend are musicians and are serious music fans. They loved the tour and were impressed with all of the knowledge and passion for music that our tour guide had. It was fun and interactive and two hours went by so fast! They can't wait to go back and take a different tour. When I asked them what was the best part of their NYC trip they said "the rock tour"! |

| Awesome! We had a great time and look forward to taking another tour with Rock Junket. Our guide was knowledgeable and quite interesting. He showed us a neighborhood we probably wouldn't have seen otherwise. |

| The rock 'n' roll walking tour had an unexpected multigenerational appeal. I'm 45, a little too young to have enjoyed the East Village scene while it was going on, but I discovered the New York Dolls, Velvet Underground, Dictators, and other neighborhood bands in college, and I passed my enthusiasm on to my son. I knew we both would enjoy the tour, but I didn't expect him to say, later, that it was his favorite activity in our five-day trip to New York City.
My son got a huge kick out of seeing the building that's pictured on the cover of Physical Grafitti, as well as Joe Strummer's mural. Me, I liked seeing the Dom, where the Velvets had their Exploding Plastic Inevitable shows, and the site of the old Fillmore East.
Bobby Pinn is an excellent guide, friendly and prepared. I recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys the bands that I mentioned above, plus the Ramones. Bobby is a huge Ramones fan. |

| When I booked this tour I had no idea what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. The guide was excellent. It was great to see where a lot of it happened. Now I really understand the phrase "drugs, sex, rock & roll". My highlights where Andy Warhol's influences, Bill Graham and the Fillmore East. It dosen't matter what type of rock music you listen to it's a great tour. |

| We really enjoyed our East Village rock tour. Our guide (John Pimm?) is a real rock fan with a lot of knowledge, personality and personal experience about what he talk about. Many thanks and long live rock'n'roll! |

| The tour was great, Bobby managed to paint up the picture on how East Village looked like in the good ol' psychodelic dirty junky days. Extra plus for him bringing along photos - sometimes it is true that a pic says more than 1000 words. I did the tour together woth two teenagres that are dedicated punk fans and they were very enthusiastic. We went back gthe next days and walked through the whole tour, this stopping at Gem Store for a egg cream and for browing through the merchandise on the streets. Thanks to the tour we knew where to go and what to explore more in detail.
I hadpromised the teenagers a tour round East Village and now in afterhand I realise that I would have been ENTIRELY lost if it was not for the Rock Punk Tour and Bobby. How in the world could ever a guidebook and map make up the amount of interesting information and sometimes firsthand information that Bobby gave us?
And a word on what could be improved. Well, it was pretty brisk weather last weekend and a 10-15 min stop could maybe have been a good idea? Especially if you are not a native English speaker 2 hours of constant information flow in another language is quite heavy. Maybe prolong the tour with 15 min and allow a coffee or egg cream break, if the participants so wish?
Overall, I thank you for arranging the tour, it made the trip to NY for two Finnish teenage punks something they will remember forever. |
