| I thoroughly recommend this tour if you are even slightly interested in the rich musical and artistic history of the East Village. The tour guide is knowledgable and engaging, and importantly seems to be a hell of a nice guy. He's a great source of local knowledge so not only do you get an informative and entertaining history of the area and it's notable sights and buildings, but he can also assist with any other question you would have as a visitor to NY.
If the names Iggy Pop, New York Dolls or Ramones mean anything to you then you will love this tour. |

| If you only like current music or mainstream rock you prob won't get much out of it because many of the stories & sites will be about people you've never heard of. But for people who grew up & really know about Warhol, the Ramones, CBGB's, Iggy Pop, etc this tour is fabulous. :) |

| Bobby Pinn is super nice, and extremely knowledgeable. Most of the people in my group were into Classic Rock and he actually, shaped the tour and the info in provided to fit our interest, but he still covered a great deal of the other genres. My only regret was that I took the tour on the last day of my trip and I didn't get a chance to visit all the local spots he recommends, but I kept all the info, so next time I am in the city that will be the first thing I do. |

| Sensational times! The guide knew his stuff! It was super interesting and definitely gave me a new appreciate of New York. People take for granted all of the amazing music (as well as other) that has gone down on our very streets. I would most definitely recommend it! |

| I found the web page for Bobby Pinn's rock walks while looking for stuff to do on a short break in NY. His walk listed sites associated with bands I've been listening to for years so I signed up for one immediately. I then got an email form him asking if I'd like to change the date because the weather wasn't looking good for the day I'd chosen, which was easily taken care of.
The walk itself takes a couple of hours and starts out where Joey Ramone lived, and fittingly ends up at the site of CBGBs. In between we visited nuermous places of musical interest in Greenwich Village and the Lower East Side, from GG Allin's hotel, to Madonna's first appartment, the site of Zeppelin's Physical Graffiti album sleeve and a host of others.
If you like the music that came out of NY in the late 70s you can't go wrong with this walk. If you're a music fan in general it's well worth doing. Bobby is an engaging and friendly host - I had a great time. |

| Not only is this a fabulous "show and tell" of historical rock and roll hot spots in the East Village, it is also a great walking tour of the East Village. As with any good rock show ... it is not suitable for children. |

| My teenage son and I enjoyed the Rock Junket tour through the East Village. We were the only ones on the tour so we were able to ask lots of questions. Our guide was knowledgeable, organized and well prepared with photos, album covers and trivia questions and kept the tour moving along. I would recommend this tour to anyone who has an interest in NYC's rock history . I would consider going on the Bob Dylan tour the next time I'm in the city. The guide gave us a brochure of some favorite spots to visit after the tour and we had a lot of fun at Generation Records. |
