It was my first time on a Segway, but the Rollwithit couple made it easy. Going across the Rattlesnake bridge was cool. |

We were only two, so owners Stu and Denise Russell gave us their full and complete
attention. Neither my companion or I had ever been on a Segway before.
The training was excellent, so when we left the lot, it didn't take long to feel
like "old pros". Denise really had done her homework as the tour guide;
we really learned the history of the neighbourhoods we visited.
Stu was an excellent "minder"and made sure we never had a
problem. Our next trip to Tucson, another of their tours will
be on our itinerary. |

This was a miserable experience for us. The woman who was in charge, with her husband, treated us as if she were a war time general, screaming at us from the back of the line if anyone did anything wrong. The practice session was so intimidating that we wanted to get off the segways then and there.
The woman started her training by telling us about her health (for at least 10 minutes), which also made us want to leave immediately. We were here for fun, not to hear her life story.
The ride itself was tense and uninteresting. This tour should only be for those that have experience, and we all agreed that it was a rather contrived way to make money and we all wished we had our $70 back.
Riding a Segway is not something that you can simply get on and go.It takes balance, and the counterintuitive turning mechanism got most of us into trouble at one time or another. It does NOT turn like a bicycle, and for us, long time bikers, this was extremely hard to get used to.
I would not recommend this to anyone. |

Good combination of Segway instruction and history

This was a fun tour, and the owners/guides went out of their way to stress safety and provide good instruction on riding the Segway. When one woman "chickened out" at the beginning, they were completely understanding. They also provided an interesting account of Tucson history, with a couple of stops along the way. The only problem I had was a steering difficulty with my Segway, which consistently pulled to the right. This is why I'm giving it 4 stars rather than 5. But certainly recommended for anyone curious about trying a Segway, and wanting to learn a little about Tucson at the same time. |

The initial instruction and continued suppervision on the tour made it a safe and fun experience. There was a bit of construction in downtown Tucson, but with the headsets it was easy to hear the guides narrative and instruction. It was very informative as well as fun. |

Great instruction, nice leaders. Take a morning trip as our 1:30 tour was too hot but we're from Seattle! The machines are fun to ride. |

My husband and I had a great time on this tour. The training was well done. I had been on a Segway before but he hadn't. He said at first he was nervous but after 10 minutes.......he felt comfortable. This Shake Rattle and Roll tour was very informative. Seeing some very old homes, cactus, the very large campus of the U of A (especially Old Main) was great. Then we Segway'd through some neighborhoods which housed railroad workers years ago and how small their living space was. It was fun seeing the architecture changes. Over the snake bridge was really neat. The whole experience was wonderful capped off with a vanilla shake. Next year we want to take another tour of Tucson with this same company. We are snowbirds and we told our Snowbird friends about this tour. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get a group next year to go on this tour. I want to add the husband/wife that own/operate this company are super nice and very knowledgeable. We all wore speakers in one ear so we were narrated throughout the trip.............. We are looking forward to next winter and taking the Presidio tour. |

We did our first segway tour earlier this year in Florida. We enjoyed it so much, we looked for something similar when we returned to Tucson. As luck would have it, we found Rollwithit. It was as much fun, if not more fun, and definitely more informative than our last. The segways are easy and fun to ride, the tour director has a great sense of humor and was very informative as we made our way around Tucson, seeing and hearing about many places we had never been. It was a birthday gift to me and definitely one of the better ones that I have gotten over the years. Everyone should try it, no matter how old you are. |

Owner/Guide very personable, took the time to know us and our abilities or lack of. Very patient while giving the instructions of operation of the segway. Interesting overview of the historic neighborhoods on the tour. Definitely would recommend to others. |

Visiting from Michigan; thought a Segway ride would be a great experience.
The 2.5 hr. tour was filled with information about interesting buildings and tips on good restaurants.
The guides stayed in touch with me via radio to explain what we were seeing at the moment!!
Great Time!! |

Interesting way to see and learn about Tucson even though have lived here for long time. My only suggestion would be for owners to keep their personal lives private. This is a business and people want to enjoy the tour. |

We learned a lot about Tucson and saw, up close and personal, some of the places we had only heard of before. The tour was very informative. The Segways were easy to learn to opperate and a LOT of fun. Our tour guide, Denise, was very knowledgable and informative.
We are looking forward to taking the other two tours offered. |

I'd never toured a city on a Segueway before & it was fun & different. Denise & Stu are very friendly and know the city. The shake, rattle & roll tour includes a milk shake at the end of the tour at a neighboring resturant, Delectables, where we had a great lunch as well. |
