We had no idea what to expect and were surprised at how much fun we had. After reading the description of this tour, we were surprised to spend so much of the tour on the UofA campus rather then other parts of the city. But it was fun riding up and down the 'mall' on campus. We look forward to taking the downtown tour on our next visit to Tucson. |

Two of us went on Saturday and enjoyed it so much we sent 3 couples on Sunday, and took 7 more with us on Monday for another tour. They changed the tours as much as possible so we wouldn't see too much of the same thing. Segways are VERY user friendly, and you really feel cool when you master them and tell everybody what you did on your trip! We were a group of businessmen and women on a business/pleasure trip to Tucson. I HIGHLY recomment this tour - Denise and Stu are wonderful tour guides - don't think you can't do it!! |

Group liked riding Segway. Thought the leader could have put less emphasis on his personal experiences. Would have preferred to learn more about local history and less about U of A. |

Our group consisted of my husband, myself, and our grown daughter (now a Tucson local). We had a great ride, the tour guide was informative and personable, this was one of the highlights of our holiday visit. I can reccommend this for those of us that are not all that physically active - or technically proficient. You'll have a good time. |

My husband and I have a home in Oro Valley and invited some Cleveland and Denver friends to join us for a long weekend. They were all apprehensive about doing a Segway but willing to give it a try. We decided on the Rock-n-Roll tour and had a fantastic time! We would suggest this to anyone wanting to do something a little different and plan on doing it again with another group of friends who will be joining us next winter. Loads of fun and easy to do after a short class. Thanks!!
PS: Great milkshake at the end of the tour!! |

We're in the process of relocating from NH and our 24 yo son was visiting. We enjoyed everything about this tour. The segways were easy to get a feel for (super instruction!), touring some of the historic neighborhoods was interesting and infomative, riding around the UA campus was a great way to see it, the rattlesnake and basket bridges were super, and the milkshake at the end was memorable. We would highly recommend this activity and look forward to going again ourselves! |

Stu was an outstanding guide. He spent just the right amount of time in showing me the Segway's controls and letting me practice on the showroom floor before hitting the streets.
I was really glad I signed up to do this! It was a lot of fun to ride around and see the sights for two hours and experience what its like to ride a Segway.
When I have company from out of town visit, there is a very good chance that I will recommend we all go and do this again.
Very cool! |

I took my daughter and her husband for a Segway tour. I've been wanting to try a Segway for ages and Tucson Springs are so gorgeous I thought it would be fun.
I read other people's reviews about busy streets and thought they were being wimps, but the truth is the tour I went on (Shake, Rattle, and Roll) does cross some really busy streets right in the heart of the University business district. Tucson drivers are notoriously bad at giving the right of way to pedestrians, they're sick of waiting on endless streams of students meander across the street, and most people aren't sure whether Segways are pedestrian or motorized.
The short of it is one driver pushed her way through the middle of our group as we were crossing the street and I got scared (since she was coming at me), hit the curb, and fell down pretty hard. It wasn't a big deal, I just bruised and scraped my elbow. There is some potential for getting hurt, especially if you happen to fall into the street, so I would not recommend this for elderly folks.
All that said, we really did have a fun trip. The guide was friendly and helpful and his little tidbits about Tucson were fairly interesting, even though two out of three of us live or have lived here.
I do have a couple of suggestions. I wish the guide had put the least skilled rider (me) more in the middle of the pack. I was right behind the guide, and so had almost no time to react when he gave us directions where he was going. I'd suggest he give his directions and instructions earlier than the riders behind him need them so there's time to react. He or she should always have a First Aid kit on hand. And I'd definitely recommend wearing a long-sleeved shirt and long pants. A fall on a street, even at only 5 mph, can hurt. We also had quite a bit of interest from drivers and other pedestrians and the guide could get some free advertising just by wearing a t-shirt with contact info or some kind of signage on the Segway.
Other than that, a very fun excursion. |

Very nice tour. Guide was knowledgable and entertaining. Route was easy to navigate and interesting. Will be even better when your upgrade with newer generation of Segway equipment. |

It was a fun activity for a small group of friends. The training was helpful and patient for the most part. Crossing intersections was not fun but touring the university campus and the Rattlesnake bridge was. It would have been better to tour past more historical businesses and homes.
Know that you may get tired legs and feet from all the standing even with the couple of breaks. The shake at the end was delicious and we stayed to order lunch. |

This was the second Segway experience for one of us, the first for the other four. We all enjoyed it, and found being on a Segway lots of fun. The instruction provided was just right, and the machines themselves were the big hit. Tour could have included more narrative about what we were seeing (I am comparing to another tour I took in another city), but that is a small criticism. All in all, I would recommend it, especially to families with teenage children |

We had a great time on the Segway tour. Our guide, Denise, gave great instructions, very detailed and informative. Our tour took us through the University of Arizona campus and the surrounding area. It was lovely. The segway becomes a part of yourself after a short time. We would do this again and again. |

I had a great time and enjoyed the sights. The Segway took some getting used to, but I was almost comfortable by the end. I appreciate the owner giving me a personal tour of one, and not canceling due to a minimum group size not being met. |
