I went on the Shake, Rattle, and Roll Segway tour with a friend. We had a great time on the tour and enjoyed riding the Segways. It would have been good to experience a less populated area of Tucson, some of the streets were difficult to navigate. Overall, we had a great time! |

We had a great time on the Segway tour. Our guide, Denise, gave great instructions, very detailed and informative. Our tour took us through the University of Arizona campus and the surrounding area. It was lovely. The segway becomes a part of yourself after a short time. We would do this again and again. |

I had a great time and enjoyed the sights. The Segway took some getting used to, but I was almost comfortable by the end. I appreciate the owner giving me a personal tour of one, and not canceling due to a minimum group size not being met. |

We have taken Segway tours in other cities. This tour was fun, but it did not reach its potential. The tour moved too slowly and the route was often not very nice - i.e. through residential and industrial areas that are not very interesting. Speed up the tour and take another route and it will be much better! |

It was definitely worth it to experience a Segway -- the tour itself is not anythinig special, but from a Segway it was fun. |

A fun introduction to Tucson

Tour guides were friendly and Segways easy to use after initial training. My husband commented that he would have liked more emphasis on the "tour" aspect -- we were given some interesting historical info on Tucson, but as first-time visitors to the city it would have been nice if the guides had pointed out specific sites/restaurants etc. worth visiting along our route. |

Instruction on how to use the Segways was excellent. Scott took it slow and was always watchful to see if we were OK. Lots of great history and information on the area. I thought we were signed up for the downtown historic tour but the shake rattle and roll was great! I saw parts of Tucson that would normally not be on our list of things to do and I really enjoyed it. Thanks for the adventure!

Something Novel To Do in Tucson!

The Segway tour was fun and novel - the Segway is very very easy to ride - and the tour operators are very concerned that you are comfortable operating it - the instruction is careful and very thorough. This tour would be particuarly fun for older folks or less physically able folks since all you need is the ability to stand upright for an hour and a half. Incidentally, they do take breaks frequently during the tour, so that you can rest your leg muscles from all that standing.
Older children and teens would like the tour because the machine is simply COOL! You talk with all the university students as you roll on by. The tour ends with delicious shakes (See Roll, Rattle and Shake(Ice Cream) so it is a fun morning or afternoon activity.
I was pleased with the activity - but call them for exact directions as the tour start is difficult to find with all the construction activity in downtown Tucson. They will guide you in by cell phone. |

Taking a segway on a tour is as close to riding a majic carpet. The owners are very knowledgable and go out of thier way. |

We enjoyed learning to ride and then taking the tour on the Segways. Our guide, Scott, was great and he did a very good job of teaching us to ride and then leading the tour. He did a very good job of making everyone comfortable on the Segways. As far as the tour sites, Scott did the best he could with what he is working with. The University is nice to see, as is the rattlesnake bridge but some of the time is spent getting from one place to the other. |

The segway was fun to operate, but there was construction on our trip and the views were not awe inspiring. |

As a senior citizen with limited mobility for long walks, I found the segway tour perfect! The machine was easy to learn and easy to handle. We traveled about 5 miles around the 4th Avenue area on pass the UA campus then over the Snake Bridge back to our awaiting milk shakes. Our guide pointed out all the highlights and history of the area and we were able to adjust our pace so that we could observe historic buildings, strange cactus formations, local neighborhoods and other interesting sites along the way--sites you would not see from driving in a car. And since it wasn't the least bit exhausting, I was able to take the grandchildren to the park afterwards!
I would highly recommend this tour to all my visiting friends. I was surprised that my son and I were the only ones on the tour. Perhaps you should allow rewiews to be published. Could it be that mature potential customers are unaware of the ease and safety of the Segway? |

The main feature of the tour was that it was different from other vacation or date activities for my wife and me. It lasted long enough for us to feel that we got a good value for the money; and the sights were fairly interesting. The commentary and storytelling of the guide was not as entertaining as other tours we have experienced; but adequate, when combined with the unique experience of the vehicles. Although not enough to put me off from doing this again, the riding position became uncomfortable after half an hour or so. I would have preferred my feet to be wider apart. The discomfort can be overcome by lifting one foot, then the other-squirming! Or, the discomfort could probably be overcome by being younger than I am-63. Do the tour; you'll like it. |

Scott, our tour guide, was great. We arrived on the wrong date, but he made arrangements so we could take the segway tour. Learning how and safety talk went well and before we knew it, off we went on our tour. Segways were fun and easy to use. Scott knew a lot about the area and spent lots of time explaining what we were seeing. After the tour we spent time talking about our experience with a delicious milkshake. I would reccomend it to everyone. |
