Roll With It! Segway Guided Tours

The tour on a segway is a unique way to see more of Tucson than I ever could have on foot. The segway was easy to learn how to use and our guide was extreamely knowledgeable about the segway and Tucson. I had a great time and would recommend it for everyone.

I had an old roomate from college come into town for the weekend, and he wanted to do "something different and fun" So I booked the Segway tour. Neither of us had ever ridden one before and it was suprisingly simple. after a few mins we were very comfortable and capable. I highly recomend this tour for those wanting to get a different spin on tucson.

OUr Segway tour was a surprize birthday present for my husband. We loved the Segways. They were easy to learn to use and fun to ride on. I would love to use one for everyday transport. Our guide, Scott, was friendly and showed us some landmarks that we didn't know about even though we've lived here for years. The milkshake at the end of the tour was frosting on the cake!

Scott did a great job of introducing us to the Segways and also giving us a great tour. Using the Segways was very user friendly. After the first 10-15 minutes we didn't have to think about how to use it. What ever we wanted to do we just did it, no muss no fuss. Just like walking, it was very natural, easy, and very fun.

I did not want to go on this tour. In fact someone else was signed up for it and got sick. I had a REALLY good time. Our tour guide Scott was fun and knowledgeable. He knew the Tucson area so well. He also knows the Segway really well. I was afraid about the Segway itself. It was really fun to drive. I have NO coordination. I had no problem driving it. The tour was fun the weather was perfect and the milkshake was excellent. I would recommend this to anyone!

Scott, our tour guide was amazing. We saw great sights and the segway was a blast! We will definitely doing a tour in the next city we visit!

Scott was an excellent guide and I had the good fortune (?) of having a one-on-one tour. We went around the University of Arizona campus and surrounding neighborhoods and both the Segway and tour were fun. Being on the Segway, we saw 2-3 times as much as we would have on foot -- and got a lot more stares and thumbs-ups.

We loved our "Shake Rattle and Roll" tour and plan on taking our guests in the future on this excellent event. Everyone who moves to Tucson should take this tour, especially if they are at all curious about the University. Our host (Scott) was superb and his narration during the tour fascination. This is one tour you just have to take!

We took our out of town family memebers and were very pleased with how we were able to learn how to maneuver the Segway. We liked that we were eased into the various levels of speed that the Segway can operate. Our guide was very, very patient and friendly as well. Our experience was likened to being on parade, it seemed we received lots of attetion from the many onlookers we encountered. This is definitely something we are going to insist on doing whenever we have out of town visitors. We took the tour because a few months ago my wife had read an article of things to do in Tucson, Arizona and this looked like something we would enjoy doing. Thanks for the great memory. Our family recently had a reunion in the Tucson area, and I wanted to plan an activity that would be interesting, educational, fun, and memorable. I had been on a Segway Tour earlier in the year. I scheduled the Shake, Rattle and Roll tour because of the history revealed, the very cool rattlesnake bridge, and the yummy milkshake at the end of the tour. The age range in our group of seven people was from 30 to 76 years old. We all managed the Segways very well. The guides were very patient and thorough while providing instructions to our group in the safe operation of the Segway machine. They were also very knowledgeable about the local history and were able to share interesting anecdotes which would never be known by just walking through the area. Subsequently, we learned some Tucson history and also learned a new skill - safe operation of a Segway machine. I believe the Segway tour will be a fond memory of all the participants for many years to come. Now that I know Segways exist, I will make it a point to seek out Segway tours in any new city I visit. Thanks for the fun time!

My Husband & I took a Segway tour to celebrate my 45th birthday while we were vacationing in Tucson. It was fun learning to use the Segway (easy) and a very nice, low-key tour was provided by Scott our tour guide. My husband, who loves cars & motorcycles enjoyed the tour as did I. A nice outing for a couple.

Excellent instruction for beginners. Easy to learn and operate. Even a caveman could do it !! Excellent way to sightsee, covered far greater area more easly and faster than one could possibly do on foot. Very good dialoge from instructor while traveling and sightseeing. Very informed instructor regarding local sights and local history. Great way to see the University campus and area. Would love to do it again. ! Highly recommended !

My sister-in-law and I just went for the Shake Rattle and Roll tour this morning. Not only was it an awesome way to see parts of Tucson I've never seen before, but our guide, Scott, was very knowledgeable about the dates and events and had a fantastic personality. We are from the Sierra Vista area and I highly recommend that anyone looking for something out of the ordinary and extremely fun to do, take one of the tours. We have only conquered one, and still have two more tours to go. I also want to mention how thorough Scott was in taking us through the initial 20-minute training, and he was very careful about making sure we were doing things well on the tour so as not to have any mishaps with the segways and ultimately ourselves. I would absolutely recommend this activity to anyone visiting Tucson! The guides were very patient and did a fantastic job teaching our group how to operate the Segways, before beginning the tour. The Segways themselves were easy to manuever and a lot of fun. We felt like pros, in a manner of minutes. We thoroughly enjoyed the journey through the historic district and the University of AZ campus, as well as the milk shake at the end.
