Stu provided very good training and after 15 min. we were all feeling much more confident on the segway. It was great fun riding the segway especially on the campus of U of A where we had less traffic. Stu, the leader, kept an eye on us for safety, taking no risks. The use of the radio/earphones worked great, making it easy for us to hear his running commentary. We especially enjoyed the rattlesnake bridge. And of course, wanted a segway for ourselves, after the tour. |

The event was excellent, but the trip around the Univerity was to long. It would have been better if we would had looked at some more old houses or other places of interest for tourists. |

Tour was great. Guide/owner Denise was knowledgeable, articulate, and a good Segway instructor. An awesome way to experience the Segway and learn a few interesting things about Tucson. |

I had a great time and enjoyed the sights. The Segway took some getting used to, but I was almost comfortable by the end. I appreciate the owner giving me a personal tour of one, and not canceling due to a minimum group size not being met. |

Scott was an excellent guide and I had the good fortune (?) of having a one-on-one tour. We went around the University of Arizona campus and surrounding neighborhoods and both the Segway and tour were fun. Being on the Segway, we saw 2-3 times as much as we would have on foot -- and got a lot more stares and thumbs-ups. |

This was the 2nd time we had taken a Segway tour - the 1st being in Utah. Denise (owner & tour guide) was kind enough to reschedule our tour due to inclimate weather. We had a brief refresher course & then on our way. This was our first time visiting Tucson, and was given a very informative tour through the historic / downtown districts & college campus. The helmet speaker system worked great when Denise was telling us of some facts about Tucson. At the end of our tour we had a delicious shake. We had a great time & the Segways are a fun way to get around. |

This was a truly awesome experience. Learning to ride a segway was a thrill in itself, but we also got to see some historic parts of Tucson that, as residents, we had heard about but never had the opportunity to see. The advice to wear sunscreen was indeed a skin saver because even though we toured in the morning, the AZ sun can be a scorcher. The tour guides were very mindful of safety first, which was reassuring to beginning riders, but they also allowed the more adventurous to test their skills. This is definitely a "must repeat" tour! |

I do recommend the segways. It was new to me and I thought it would be too challenging but it was not. They are alot of fun and very easy to learn to manuver. |

This is our second Segway tour (although the first was in a different city) and we enjoyed both tremendously. It's a fantastic way to see any city. In fact, we told friends (who are Tucson residents) about it and they remarked that we saw parts of the city they had never seen before. (As a result, they are planning to take the tour themselves!) Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and very safety conscious. We can't recommend the tour highly enough. Lots of fun! |

I had an old roomate from college come into town for the weekend, and he wanted to do "something different and fun" So I booked the Segway tour. Neither of us had ever ridden one before and it was suprisingly simple. after a few mins we were very comfortable and capable. I highly recomend this tour for those wanting to get a different spin on tucson. |

Just the opportunity to ride around on a Segway was fun enough, but the tour of Tucson was icing on the cake. Scott, our tour guide/instructor was very patient and professional. We had very little trouble learning to control our Segways. After about 20 minutes of training, we began the tour. First we went through some of the older neighborhoods. A few houses had some interesting history. Second, we went around the Arizona University campus. It's very nice, I wish I had a chance to attend there. Finally, we went across the giant rattlesnake pedestrian overpass (The "rattle" part of the tour, despite what a couple of the poor quality of roads on the tour might lead you to believe!). Once we returned we were treated to a delicious vanilla milkshake from the restaraunt beside the Segway office. My sister and I really enjoyed it and look forward to trying one of their other tours some day. |

We have done Segway tours in the past (just recently in Kansas City) and were excited to find a Segway tour in Tucson. We scheduled online, and all that went well. We showed up early (weren't sure what traffic would be like) and found we were the only ones on this particular tour. Since we had recently been on Segways, the tour guide bumped us up to a higher speed, which was actually easier for me than the slower one. We did the Presidio Tour and found the guide to be very informative and very nice. We covered ground faster than larger groups with inexperienced riders, so he gratiously took us to a site we were interested in that was not on the tour.
Tucson is an interesting city with some great history. The Segway is a great way to see it! Even on a hot day (the temps were supposed to get up to 100 that day), we were quite comfortable.
Two things that were great about this tour the others we have been on didn't have or do? 1) They use a communication system with ear phones. That made it possible to communicate while we were moving and without the guide having to yell. 2) He would stop to let us move around, when we needed. It can be difficult to stand for that long, so these offers were a welcome stop along the way!
We truly enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it! |

My sister-in-law and I just went for the Shake Rattle and Roll tour this morning. Not only was it an awesome way to see parts of Tucson I've never seen before, but our guide, Scott, was very knowledgeable about the dates and events and had a fantastic personality. We are from the Sierra Vista area and I highly recommend that anyone looking for something out of the ordinary and extremely fun to do, take one of the tours. We have only conquered one, and still have two more tours to go.
I also want to mention how thorough Scott was in taking us through the initial 20-minute training, and he was very careful about making sure we were doing things well on the tour so as not to have any mishaps with the segways and ultimately ourselves.
I give this ten stars and will tell all of my friends and families.
