Roll With It! Segway Guided Tours

The Segway tour leader gave us very clear, calm, and helpful coaching on riding the Segway--a tricky skill to learn. She especially emphasize safety. The tour was interesting--I've lived in Tucson since 1983, and the leader showed me places I had not noticed before. The tour leader provided headsets so that we could clearly hear her tour notes. The tour was fun, too, and relaxing.

The Segway tour is a great couple of hours. The Segway's themselves were a lot easier to master than I thought. Our guides were concerned about safety and gave ample safety training on the usw of the Segways. They were also extremely knowledgable about the area and gace interesting commentary throughout the tour.

I really enjoyed learning how to ride the Segway Personal Transporter- Dennise is an excellent teacher! It's amazing how you go from wondering how you'll get the hang of it, to zipping around with confidence in just a few minutes. Dennise gave us a great audio tour while we saw places of Tucson I didn't know, and I've been living here for 15 years ;-) I would highly recommend this for anyone, from high school kids to retirees!

Tour was great. Guide/owner Denise was knowledgeable, articulate, and a good Segway instructor. An awesome way to experience the Segway and learn a few interesting things about Tucson.

Always wanted to try a Segway. This place evaluated our skill levels and taught us from the basics. Our teacher/guide was very watchful making sure we didn't have any surprises or bad experiences as well as making the tour interesting.

We really enjoyed the Segway tour. Easy to learn, with great instruction from Stu and Denise. As first-time visitors to Tucson, we would have liked a bit more general history of the area, but that didn't take away from our enjoyment at all. Denise should do hand-outs on the way - we had so many people ask us how to sign up as we rolled past them. Do it - you won't regret it.

We very much enjoyed our tour of Tucson on the Segway vehicles. While none of us had ever been on a Segway before, with a short training session we were soon operating them with comfort. The Tour was informative and fun for all, including our 17 year old son. This is a fun and exciting way to see the sights.

I've always wanted to ride a Segway and finally had a free afternoon in Tucson to give it a go. After a brief instruction session by Denise the owner, we were off. We toured the neighborhoods and the University of Arizona with Denise providing a running commentary of the sights via a small radio earpiece we put on at the beginning of the tour. Riding the scooter was remarkably easy after a few minutes of practice, it's a lot of fun. And at the end, a terrific vanilla milkshake caps the afternoon. Highly recommended!

I don't think that I have ever had so much fun and learned so much in such order! Plus, we got to experience the far-out Segway transportation system for the first time. We're looking forward to bringing out of town guest next time for a memorable visit.

Denise was fabulous! She spent ample time going over safety and use of the Segway. After that,, we each demonstrated our skill on the machine and we were off to the streets. The Segway was easier to use than I expected. The tour itself covered alot of ground, and we traveled much further than we could have on foot. It was alot of fun and informative. Denise captured our attention with many fine points about the sites we saw along the way. The rattlesnake bridge was neat, and who could complain about a milkshake at end the experience? I want to add that I had concerns about putting on a helmet that some one wore prior to me, so I brought a showere cap to wear underneath, however, when I arrived at the storefront, Denise had surgical caps available as well as Lysol disinfectant wipes and was very well aware of germ isswues. She personally cleans each piece of equipment prior to storing them for the next user. Bravo Denise for a fantastic experience!!! You have found your Niche!

we really enjoyed our segway experience, enjoyed going over the rattlesnake bridge and the vanilla shake at the end of our tour wasn't a bad thing!!

Wonderful leadership, great narrative, very interesting. Several hours of learning about the city, and mastering the fun of the Segway machine. A great way to spend an afternoon, no experience needed!!

We were very impressed with the tour guides--very welcoming but safety conscious and offering superb narratives on the well-chosen sights depicting Tucson history. It could not have been a better outing and we recommend it unconditionally. The Sholdts
