Roll With It! Segway Guided Tours

We enjoyed our Segway Tour. The training was fast and helpful, the tour was interesting. We hated for it to end!

My friend and I have lived in Tucson for many years and we both know quite a bit about the history of our town. We had way more fun and learned so much more than we expected. Our guide was attentive and knowledgeable and riding the Segway was such a kick! Defnitely recommend this to locals and tourists alike. We can't wait to take another tour!

We'd never been on Segways before but after the initial 10 min "lesson" from Stu and Denise (tour guides extraordinaire) we were off and rolling - literally. The Segways were FUN and easy. Denise's comments throughout the tour, that we could all hear through the earpieces were fascinating - not only did she give us a great tour but also a told a lot of interesting background stories about the areas we rolled through. The milkshake at the end of the tour was a wonderful bonus. I'd highly recommend this tour as the #1 way to see the heart of Tucson.

My husband's daughter was visiting us from Denver. She had never been to Tucson before so I looked into some activities for us to do while she was here. I wanted to take her to downtown Tucson and see some of our historical sites downtown also. I happened to find this Segway tour while researching local activities on the internet. My husband and I have taken Segway tours in Chicago and San Diego and loved them. We had a great time on this tour. The guides were wonderful and knowledgeable. The use of headphones made the tour great because we could hear our guide without him having to yell or slow down the tour. This is a great activity which we highly recommend. My husband's daughter had such a good time that she wants to take a Segway tour in Denver when she returns!

I bought my husband the segway tour for Christmas because my brother had done one in Palm Springs and he said how fun it was. He was right. From the moment we walked in the door of the segway shop Denise and Stu eased any fear we had and treated us to a fun afternoon of segway riding and downtown Tucson exploring. Plus we learned about some history that neither one of us as natives knew. All I can say is just do it and you will have a really great time.

Having ridden a Segway several times before, while others in my group had never ridden, Denise made everyone feel comfortable before the tour began. I have lived in Tucson for almost 3 years, but still learned and saw things that I didn't know the city had to offer. Denise made all of us feel comfortable on our Segways which made the tour very enjoyable. Stopping several times for us to stretch our legs and talk about what we had seen. I will take another one of the tours in the future, having enjoyed this one so much. Also would recommend it to friends and family that come to Tucson for a visit.

It was fun. By the end I was comfortable on the ride and able to look around but in the beginning it was a little difficult to look around while trying to learn how to ride. I recommend going in a small group. My group was large (8) and so the narrator rode in the middle. The only problem was that by the time he got to a pont and started talking about I had already passed it. I would go again though.

We absolutely loved the Shake Rattle and Roll tour! Tour guide Denise was a gem, she gave us easy to understand instructions on how to ride the Segway, then was very informative as we toured around Tucson on the Segways. We loved it, and riding the Segways was such a hoot! Would highly recommend the tour to anyone with the slightest sense of adventure. We would do it again without hesitation!

My interest was more in trying out the Segway than seeing the sites. But the sites turned out to be fun, too. I appreciated the detailed training because I tend to be a spazz with this type of thing. I was a bit fearful of going out into traffic but the leader was so experienced, I never even thought about it once we got going. OK, I almost landed in the fountain but was quickly able to recall my training and avoided the disaster. It was a bit more physically tiring that I imagined. We were beat for the rest of the afternoon, and we are in good shape. Two hours was just about right. I definitely would try this again. The morning coffee trip sounds like a winner, before the heat of the day. Thanks for a great Tucson trip memory!

The tour of old Tucson was excellent. Stu provided lots of history at a great pace with several sort breaks in shady places. Learning the Segway was easy and fun.

We loved learning to ride the Segway, and Denise told us so many fascinating things about Tucson. We loved the history and seeing U of Az and all points of interest. The milkshake was yummy.

This is the second time that I have brought friends to Segway. Once again, they had a great time. I will continue to bring visitors to Roll With It! Thanks for a great tour and a fun time!

Our first Segway ride was a blast. It was a birthday surprise for my husband, who has always wanted to try Segwaying. Now he wants to buy one! Our tour guide (company owner) was fun, patient, and gave a thoroughly entertaining tour of Tucson, with many interesting stories. The milkshake at the end was delicious! Would do again in a heartbeat!

We have taken two couples on this tour, and each time have really enjoyed it. Denise and Stu were very thorough in their instructions on how to use the Segways, and made sure that everyone was comfortable before we started out. The tours were not only very informative but lots of fun as well. The first couple we took were in their late 40's and the second couple were in the mid 70's. Both couples had a really good time, and had no problems mastering the Segways. We are having more company and intend to take them on this tour as well. We highly recommend this activity to all ages.
