Nervous at first, but enjoyed the experience.

The initial instruction and continued suppervision on the tour made it a safe and fun experience. There was a bit of construction in downtown Tucson, but with the headsets it was easy to hear the guides narrative and instruction. It was very informative as well as fun.

We learned a lot about Tucson and saw, up close and personal, some of the places we had only heard of before. The tour was very informative. The Segways were easy to learn to opperate and a LOT of fun. Our tour guide, Denise, was very knowledgable and informative. We are looking forward to taking the other two tours offered.

New Experience

I'd never toured a city on a Segueway before & it was fun & different. Denise & Stu are very friendly and know the city. The shake, rattle & roll tour includes a milk shake at the end of the tour at a neighboring resturant, Delectables, where we had a great lunch as well.

Lots of fun! Owner Denise showed us how to operate the vehicles and took us on an interesting tour, telling us about Tucson history, plants and animals. She's friendly and a natural teacher. I'm not athletic and don't have a great sense of balance, but enjoyed the tour and had no trouble. A good experience!

Relaxing ride

I enjoyed the tour, tucson has some great historical sites and the guide new alot about the areas and topics. It was well worth the price and a bottle of H20 (which you'll need) was included which was a great touch and a milkshake at the end. The only thing i would have liked is if we could have went faster. I had rode before so i would have liked to take it up a notch and get some wind, speed, and excitement! But we just kinda casually strolled along. other than that I love segways and would do it again!

Fun in the sun while gliding!

Denise was a great guide! Her stories about the sights were entertaining and educational. She uses a microphone broadcasting to be able to be heard using remote receivers with earphones for those on the tour. The pace of the tour was gentle and comfortable. The training on the Segway was gentle and understanding of my ability. I really enjoyed the tour and the vanilla shake afterward. Excellent shake! Excellent tour!

A fabulous, fun and fascinating way to see Tucson

We'd never been on Segways before but after the initial 10 min "lesson" from Stu and Denise (tour guides extraordinaire) we were off and rolling - literally. The Segways were FUN and easy. Denise's comments throughout the tour, that we could all hear through the earpieces were fascinating - not only did she give us a great tour but also a told a lot of interesting background stories about the areas we rolled through. The milkshake at the end of the tour was a wonderful bonus. I'd highly recommend this tour as the #1 way to see the heart of Tucson.

We Highly Recommend the Segway Tour

We fully enjoyed the experience we had when we took the Segway tour in Tucson Arizona. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area, and taught us how to use the segways and made sure we were comfortable with them before we left for the tour. She was helpful and fun! She answered all of our questions, made sure we all had a good time. It was well worth the money, and we have recommended the tour to all of our friends! Thank you for a Great Experience!

New Slant on Downtown Tucson

This is an interesting variation on a local tour which allows you to get a close up feel for the area at more or less walking pace without the effort of walking. Communication by way of the radio device built in to the segway and a plug in ear piece is very efficient, allowing Denise, the tour leader, to give clear operating instructions as well as a first rate commentary on local points of interest. For first time users of a segway the main attraction is the chance to find out just what it's like to ride one, and that's worth the ticket price even without the sightseeing. They really are incredibly easy to ride and it's amazing how, within just a few minutes, you find yourself propelling them forwards or backwards almost without conscious movement of your body, in other words the leaning action of your body ("slanting" - geddit?) is so slight and natural you almost think you're controlling it by your mind rather than your body. For a small group of people with similar ability and experience it's definitely a fun trip worth five stars, though I might be a bit wary of a larger group of mixed ability which could be a bit of a drag for the more able riders having to proceed at the pace of the slowest member of the herd.

All-Around Fun

The instructor/docent was patient with me. The challenge was stimulating. The accomplishment was very satisfying. The tour was interesting. The coeds were pretty. I would do it again, and I have hinted to my daughter, who wants to try it, that she may find a gift certificate in the mail for her birthday or Christmas.
