San Francisco Movie Sights Tour

This movie tour was one of the best activities I undertook during my recent trip to San Francisco. The guide AJ was extremely well informed, witty and enthusiastic. She shared our group's love of movies and San Francisco in general and was able to answer all our questions. As well as being jam packed with interesting movie scenes and facts the tour also took us to places in San Francisco that would be very time consuming and expensive to visit without this tour. It introduced us to new areas of the city that I will definitely be exploring again in greater depth on future visits.

I grew up in SF and San Bruno, and learned a lot and enjoyed myself. I recommend this tour to anyone who loves SF or film or any combination.

I was left on my own, while my daughter was at a conference, many tours fell through because it was a Monday or a light tourist time, or maybe the Giants winning the series who knows. Anyway I needed my time occupied but I'm not a huge movie fan. So with trepidation off I go to find the Movie Tour people. Well they found me AJ (the guide) was fabulous!! She obviously loves her job. It was a fabulous way to see the city , sit back and relax and enjoy. We saw Presidio Park, Golden Gate Bridge and Golden GatePark as well .So many fun facts and recognizable places because of the movies. Most of them are popular movies we have all seen ...even Me.

This is a delightful way to tour the city, whether you are new to SF or not. AJ was a funny and enthusiastic guide. I recommend this

It was a well thought out tour, showing clips from movies at the same time your were approaching the locations. Guide was knowledgable and friendly Really just a nice tour showing the sights of San Francisco while relating it to popular movies.

Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. AJ was a delightful guide - very welcoming and knowleadable. Rowan drove the bus so well that I was completely unaware of what he was doing - we just seemed to be magically transported from one place to another. The timing was great - always arriving at a spot at just the right time for the video on screen. Would love to do the tour again in a few years time as I'm sure I missed some of the information and would imagine too that things will be added and changed over time to further improve the tour. Great stuff!

The tour owner conducted my tour. He is knowledgable, personable and an excellent guide. I enjoy going on non-typical tours and this is one of the best. You'll have a great time and maybe learn a little something!

Really enjoyed watching the clips at the same time I am seeing the real location! Very cool! Tour guide Wylie was funny and bus driver Brian did awesome stunt driving. I actually hadn't seen many of the films made in SF, so this makes me want to see those movies and rewatch the ones I have already seen! Just enough stops to get out and stretch and take photos and use the restroom. Would be cool to do this on an open air bus as then you could see everything but I know that would make the clips hard to see... Maybe someday with technology it can be done, like a screen in the back of the seat in front of you shaded and a convertible bus! I have already recommended this tour to others and if I ever come back to SF, will go again!

The tour was laid out perfectly going from neighborhood to neighborhood. The pit stops in Alamo Park (Full House), under the Golden Gate Bridge, around City Hall, etc. were perfectly planned. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the city and all the movies discussed. Overall it was a great tour that I highly recommend and would do again. Shaun - (NYC)
