San Francisco Movie Tours

What a wonderful experience!! From the moment the tour started we were transported into the world of movies with the San Francisco background. Our guide Wylie coordinated the clips we were seeing perfectly to the street we were on, he told us of coming locations with plenty of time for us to be looking in the right direction. There was alot of trivia that was pertinent to the movie, it was all fantastic. 300% more than I expected.

Really enjoyed watching the clips at the same time I am seeing the real location! Very cool! Tour guide Wylie was funny and bus driver Brian did awesome stunt driving. I actually hadn't seen many of the films made in SF, so this makes me want to see those movies and rewatch the ones I have already seen! Just enough stops to get out and stretch and take photos and use the restroom. Would be cool to do this on an open air bus as then you could see everything but I know that would make the clips hard to see... Maybe someday with technology it can be done, like a screen in the back of the seat in front of you shaded and a convertible bus! I have already recommended this tour to others and if I ever come back to SF, will go again!

The tour was laid out perfectly going from neighborhood to neighborhood. The pit stops in Alamo Park (Full House), under the Golden Gate Bridge, around City Hall, etc. were perfectly planned. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the city and all the movies discussed. Overall it was a great tour that I highly recommend and would do again. Shaun - (NYC)

Overall, very good. Very informative. Very enjoyable. My recommendation would be that they take a little more time at the stops. It felt rushed. Also, in some instances they were too quick to leave an area that they were discussing, not allowing for pictures. In some instances, it cannot be helped. However, in others, it was very doable - i.e. Fisherman's Wharf.

AJ, the guide and Ray, the driver were very good. AJ very informative and knowledgeable. Very interesting tour. Covered a lot of the city, which was great. Stops were not too long, which was also good. Have been on the tour before and enjoyed it just as much the second time. Ray does an amazing job whipping that bus through traffic and up and down the hills. Super job.

An extremely good tour with a very knowledgable and enthusiastic guide..For anyone interested in film it is a fascinating 3 hour tour which doubles as a good trip round much of San Francisco as well. Over 70 film clips were shown on the screen. There were 3 or 4 well placed stops for photographs and comfort breaks. Films covered ranged from black and white silents to films made in the first decade of this century..Well worth $39.

It was more about the movie clips they showed than the city itself. But it sure put a lot of movies in context, and you did get to see many areas of the city. Several stops for photos made it much more fun than just sitting in the bus the whole time. The guide was execelent with both knowledge and a good sense of humor.

Really interesting and informative. Enjoyed seeing the clips of the films and then seeing the actual location. Vast number of films covered and it is a great way to see San Francisco.

Never did a movie tour before but thoroughly enjoyed this one. Saw 70 movie locations and enjoyed the commentary by the tour guide. Small bus added to the tour as it was very relaxed and infomative. I would suggest anyone that loves movies to take this tour if in San Francisco. You won't be disappointed.

Very interesting and educational.

I liked that the scene of the movie is shown on the monitor on the bus while you are at the same location where the scene was filmed. The tour guide was very informed and made the trip enjoyable by asking trivia questions and giving us further info about each location. The trip was just the right length.

Very entertaining tour through nearly 100 years of SF movies! Our guide AJ was very, very funny and knowledgeable. The tour was very well organized, we had a nice, very clean bus and a very comfy ride with our driver Ray!

The guide was very pleasant and very knowlegable, he was very willing to answer any questions we had everyone was treated with care you felt very relaxed. The tour itself was very interesting especially if you had seen the films, since coming home we have looked up some of the films and enjoyed seeing the sights again knowing much more about where they were filmed. I would have liked to go home with a copy of the clips that were played.I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in films, but it also took you all around San Francisco to some places other tour buses didnt go.

A great way to see San Francisco and recapture scenes from the movies that were film in this city.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the movie tour. The guide was vey informative, friendly and humorous.
